Housh wants deal by Saturday (1 Viewer)

Vikings need a reliable chain moving type of WR. I would think that 'Housh' would fill that need.
Bobby Engram might be able to do the same thing for a year or so. For a run-first defensive minded team it's hard for me to imagine MIN is really going to commit THAT MUCH $ into their starting WR's.... when they have nobody to throw to them and can probably win with just an average passing game.

Ah, no. The Vikings have tried winning with what they thought was an average passing game the last several years, and the defense and running game has really been breaking their backs to earn victories. Housh makes a ton of sense in this offense. Fantasy wise, I think he clearly will drop down in # of targets and receptions, but acquiring Sage and Housh would allow the Vikings to be dramatically more deep in offense, and wouldn't have to rely on the running game to win. That would be dynamic.
