How appealing is the Colts/Pats game to non-homers? (1 Viewer)

Being a Michigan fan, I love watching Brady and the Pats take the pentultimate Whiner, Mr. Peyton "false sense-of-entitlement" Manning, behind the woodshed. He's the best regular season QB that I've ever seen, but his lack of heart and 'me-first' attitude is just sickening. I love watching Manning lose, and I love watching Brady win. I have to root for certain players in the league since I'm a Lions fan!
Brady showed the heart of a Chumpion tonight!

Wow, I was just going to congratulate you on a good game...nevermind. :football: I thought the Colts played great ball tonight and definitely deserved to win. Personally I think Coach B should have ran more, especially when his players kept popping up the ball. Brady might have a stat of 4 interceptions, but I think only one of them was actually his fault. The other three got to the player. All in All, the game lived up to the hype...

I was responding to one poster. Thanks but no thanks for the congratulations.

sorry if I misunderstood you...I don't think Brady played like a Chumpion, but I do think his supporting cast did...

How many championships has Peyton won?A Colts fan would certainly know a 'Chumpion' when they saw one! :D

Homer of neither, but a huge fan of the Pats/Bellichick and Manning so that game was a must see for me.

Nice ratings for last night's game

NEW YORK (AP) -- Sunday night's Indianapolis-New England game was one of the NFL's most-watched prime-time games in five years, according to overnight data provided by Nielsen Media Research.

NBC announced Monday that the game drew nearly 21.98 million viewers, topping last year's total of 21.86 million for the Patriots-Colts game on Nov. 7.

Overall, the game had a 14.0 rating and a 22 share. The national rating is the percentage of U.S. television households tuned to a program, and each point represents about 1.1 million homes. The share is the percentage of households watching a broadcast among those homes with televisions in use at the time.

Only three games in the last five years have produced higher ratings and all three involved the Colts. Last year's Pittsburgh-Indianapolis game drew a 14.8 rating, while the Manning Bowl between the Colts and New York Giants in Week 1 and last year's Colts-Pats game each had ratings of 14.3.

How could anyone not want to watch the 2 best QB's in the game with a lot of bad blood between the teams (well, most of the bad blood is on the Colts' side).

I guess you haven't read ESPN's Bill Simmons lately?
