How do you pick your kicker..4 factors that make a top fantasy kicker (1 Viewer)

I usually go with my gut, but the sum of the parts is as follows:

Other than looking for a top performer:

1) Dome - try to stay away from bad weather if this isn't an option look for a good climate. In redraft that sometimes takes the form of the teams schedule too.

2) High powered offense or one with firepower that stalls out.

3) For some reason I often end up with a kicker in the NFC South maybe the NFC North.

This is what I was referring to above

Arguably the most remarkable showing came from FootballGuys’ kicker specialist, Mike Herman. For those that aren’t aware, Herman is a devotee of all things kicker related and even operates his own blog, appropriately namedKickology. It’s only fitting, therefore, that he lapped the field in the one category he submitted rankings: Kicker. Herman’s accuracy score, 76.3%, was so far and away the #1 rating (#2 was 46.1%) that we’ll be requesting he submit to a doping test within the next 24 hours. In all seriousness, congrats are in order because this was an incredible performance. Now might not be a bad time to ask FootballGuys for a raise, Mike.

find Eagles kicker > pick him. I can't pick the Panthers kicker, because I'm never very high on their ability to move the ball.

The main thing I look for is a guy with a late bye week. When his bye week rolls around I drop him for a warm weather or indoor kicker.
This is my criteria. Actually I target the guys with the late bye week so I can replace him pretty much any time that's convenient (especially in the league I have with a limit on the number of weekly moves).-QG
