How do you win the Super Bowl when 2 people on in your lineup score 0 (1 Viewer)

All you guppies can :ptts:Manning,Grant, K. JonesBurris, Evans, HoushGouldSaints:bag:you ;) me
and if Grant does not get that 66 yd TD you lose??? Goes to show you it is still luck...I noticed the Shark always gets close, but never gets the guppy...This Guppy team could have won yesterdayQB K WarnerRB A Stecker, K WatsonWR J Cotchery, R White, MasonK M Gramatica,Def DolphinsI think only Cotchery and Mason were probably not on waivers at some point this season...

If that was the winner's lineup, I wonder what the loser's lineup looked like.

And you have to love someone bragging about starting "Burris" when he probably means Plaxico Burress.

I'm sure his handle is for "Tony the..." not Woods.

You don't win the Super Bowl because it is the NFL championship game and you are just some lame geek that doesn't know the difference between that and a fantasy football game.

Actually, I think Stecker and Watson are more shark plays than guppy. A guppy would not grab backups nor would they be quick enough to get them off waivers. I drafted R White in 3 out of 3 leagues. It payed off, too. White was 15th overall in my league and was a solid #2.

Get over yourself, d*uchebag, If you can't even spell the names of your players, you're obviously not paying attention and certainly don't deserve a championship. In a league that starts only eight players, skill has almost nothing to do with it.

He won his league. Did you? No. You didn't, because you're not a true Great White like the OP, and you're left to rain on someone else's parade. You should do more research next year. :ptts:

Actually I'm up 94 to 84 in the SB of my league. :ptts:

Happened in the auction league I was in. Literally 2 zeros, as his starting RBs were Reggie Bush and Willie Parker. Guy was forced to play them as we must start 2 RBs (no flex) and there's no free agency during the playoffs. His third RB was Justin Fargas, also out. Actually he also had Davenport on his bench, and not sure why he didn't play him, other than Pitt playing in the Thursday game and both Bush and Fargas not being officially out at that time, though unlikely to play. Probably an oversight on his part and luckily didn't cost him.

Won with Willie and Carson laying an egg, but Kyle Vanden Bosch and Tenn defense are getting Christmas cards from me.

I  Vanden Bosch.

My team that was made up of:

Matt Hasselbeck

Jake Delhomme

Stephen Jackson

Frank Gore

Lendale White

Fred Taylor

TJ Housh

Javon Walker

Wes Welker

Roddy White

Jeremy Shockey

Kris Brown

Jeff Reed

had 4 wins this year. My 2 RB keepers of Jackson/Gore (which were the core of my championship team last yer) were partially to blame. Sprinkle in some major injuries - and it its easy to see that you need a little luck each year in fantasy football.

You mean you keep chasing them but never catch them? Well 2nd place is better than many. I will be polishing my trophy! :goodposting:

Winning with two zeroes is satisfying, but hardly skill. I won my championship yesterday by a big enough margin that I would have still won it if I'd only started Big Ben, SJax, Jacobs and Furrey (who was on my bench and scored only .5 points) against his full 9 player lineup. As much as I might like to think that was skill, luck was the primary factor as my opponent's lineup underperformed rather spectacularly. I'll take it though.
