You did not watch the game, did you? His big plays were called back by penalties. The penalty on his long run was nowhere near the play.

He had a wicked cut back or jump cut and exploded down the field but he did get caught from behind. He had a couple of nice natural hand catches. I think he might have passed Perine. He looks explosive but he did seem to run out of gas at the end. He did look very quick at the line.

Evans went to the local HS (Ben Davis HS, Indianapolis) and then Michigan. I’ve been watching him play since he was a HS sophomore. Very fast (4.50 40 at the Combine) and has receiving skills. 6th Round pick by the Bengals. listed as 3rd or 4th RB on depth charts. Maybe he’s a long shot to...

I expect him to be the RB2 in Cinci. Perine is in a contract year & Evans looks so much more explosive.

I traded for him specifically for that reason.
