This is where I stand. Absolute greed has brought us to this. At one time, NFL football on a Thursday meant it was Thanksgiving. Later on in the season, there will be regular season games on Saturdays. SATURDAYS!
Things have gotten watered down. Once upon a time, Monday Night Football was a celebration. The action has been spread around it has become just another day.
I know they never will because of money, but I enjoyed the NFL more when I could block off Sunday 1-7:30 and enjoy all the games at one time. Then tune in for one MNF game if it had good teams. Exposure all week and a ridiculous amount of commercial time-outs certainly puts $$$$s in the owners and players pockets, but the product has been greatly diminished IMO. I only have so much TV watching time in a week. I'd rather see it delivered all at once. I'm 1000% with Hastur on this.
