Watched baseball til 1am, son woke me up at 6am... Played for a while with him, then put on Planes and went back to sleep. Wife woke me at 8:30, son has school at 9 and it is a 10-12 minute walk, I go straight to work after dropping him off.

Normally takes me roughly 30-40 minutes to get ready, did it in 18 this morning. Poop, shower, hair, dress, brushed teeth, and out the door - That has to be some sort of record.

Alarm goes off at 5:45, out the door by 6:05 or 6:10 depending on how long the dogs take to drop a morning deuce.

ETA: I shower every morning, have clothes set out the night before (mostly so I don't have to fumble around to find a pair of matching dress socks.)

Get up at 6:00 - answer emails, shower get dressed, make breakfast and coffee - out of the door by 7:00. I generally make a full breakfast so i think that is where in losing time. If i am late i can make it out in 15-20 minutes.

My work bathroom is actually nicer decor and cleanliness wise than my home bathroom. They have one of those fragrance sprayers that shoots out at a certain intervals. It smells really nice in their considering its a bathroom. I always use the handicap stall to have the extra space.

Absolutely. That work bathroom is spotless. My home bathroom on the other hand is a mess with 2 young kids, a messy wife and myself who isn't too clean pretty much sharing the same bathroom. We only have 2 bathrooms and the other one is in the basement.

Do you all make your own breakfast/coffee or buy on the wqy to work? I dont drink milk so cereal is not an option. Mcdonalds cost 7-8 for coffee and a egg mcmuffin these days, complete waste of miney i would rather throw away somewhere else. Bybthe time i make an eggs and coffee plus clean up and eat it takes me at least 30 extra minutes.

Shower takes 4 minutes, MAX. Brushing teeth takes 2. My hair (what's left of it) is kept short so there's no having to deal with styling it. That leaves me 4 minutes to throw on clothes and walk out the door.

Do I wish it was nice and clean? Absolutely. Is it worth getting stressed about? Absolutely not. I used to be that guy, but between work and home life, I've come to realize to let a lot of things slide and I'm a lot happier b/c of it.

Seriously, between pooping/showering/shaving I'm in for at least 15-20 right there. If I have to iron, add in another 5-6 minutes. Hair, getting dressed, brushing teeth = at least another 8-12 minutes.
