We now have 14 rounds in our draft.

My question is how many rounds is the norm? How many do other leagues have?

What is the big deal?

R = Rounds

K = Keepers

S = Size of Roster

R = (S-K)

Example: If I have 15 positions on my roster and I can keep 3 players from last years team. The number of rounds is determined by the following complicated equation:

R = (15 - 3)

R = 12

I average about 6-7 beers during the draft but wait until it's almost over before having any shots.

Then we have an extra round where you can pick up one extra player at any position

I prefer my leagues to have deep benches, so that the initial draft becomes more important than waiver wire desperation flyers.

In a 12-man redraft with 9 player roster, I like at least 9 bench spots - so that's 18 rounds.

Ideally for me, 20 rounds in a 12-man redraft = 240 players chosen.

Makes for a more interesting season I think.
