This game reminds me of the Johnny Drama line when he was asked about all of the reviews he'd seen for "Five Towns."

"It's a bloodbath, bro."

This could be nothing short of ugly. The Eagles average 3.6 sacks per game. The Niners allow 4 sacks per game. Honestly, if O'Sullivan makes it through this game in one piece it should be considered a victory.

So what's the betting call for this week? How many sacks will the Eagles get against the Niners?

Well they sacked Pitt 9 times... but JTO is a little bit more quick on his feet. Im gonna say 5-7.

I went 5-7. The offense Matrz runs is very flashy and wide open. The downside is that his QB's get killed from the lack of protection. Bulger and Kitna have been total messes since playing for him and now it's O'Sullivan's turn to get broken into pieces. :goodposting:

They're allowing ALMOST 4 a game,The eagles average 4 a game,there's your answer....4

But the Niners will win a high scoring game.

Martz offense does tend to leave the QB vulnerable and as said the Niners are averaging 4 sacks per week. S.F.'s O-line won't have Jennings this week. I say, as much as I hate to, they get to him at least 5 times and stand a chance of doubling the 4 sacks per week they allow. Just hope J.T. is able to stay upright.

So...If team A allows 120 rush yards per game, and team B obtains 120 per game...when they meet team B is a lock to rush for ONLY 120 yards? How about if it's 80? Hopefully you can see that your logic isn't just flawed...it's ridiculously flawed.

Voted 1-4, but I'm being conservative with that guess. It could easily be a lot higher. San Fran definately seems to be what the doctor ordered for the Eagles. Let's hope this game doesn't come down to the last 2 minutes, otherwise the Eagles lose.

I voted 1-4 but am debating between Minnesota at home vs Det or Philly in my big $$$ league.......

Any thoughts ?????? :kicksrock:

Depends on your scoring system. If you are penalized for points allowed, I'd say the Vikings are the stronger play because I think JTO has a much better chance to put up some points than Orlovsky. Otherwise, I don't see a lot of difference between the two. I think both teams are looking at strong sack totals and possibly 2-3 takeaways at least.

Another way to put it.. You have an overachieving defense line against an underachieving offensive line. 4 is *not* the statistical expectation. I voted 5-7.
