How many showers do you take a day? Do you shower for purposes like waking yourself up or bc of a headache?

2-3 a day... Morning wake up cleanse & a night time cleanse... Sometimes in between just bc I'm feeling out of it.

In the summer, 1-2. In the winter I might go a day or two between showers.

Depends, one every morning, then a 2nd if I have a flag football/basketball/soccer game at night.

Every morning for sure.

Then, after any physical activity where I get sweaty. Softball, Running, Gym, etc... I'll shower again afterward.

Every morning regardless of anything.

Then pretty much every night after some sort of athletic activity.

This. It has to be really hot or exerted extra activity for second shower. But always when I wake up.

If I work out before lunch, I'll shower afterwards (almost always on the weekends). Then another before I go to bed.

If I work out later, I'll just take one that day.

Who doesnt shower when they wake up?!
I don't. I work from home a lot, so I tend to work all day, do some kind of exercise, shower, dinner, bed, wake up do all over again. I have really dry skin/psoriasis so it's not always pleasant to shower because it takes time to lotion up.

It's the 3 S's every morning.
sweaty sack syndrome

so probably more than one a day
The 3 S's i was brought up on were ####, shower,shave
Oh the irony of posting this yesterday because my ####ing water isnt working yet today, so I cant ####, shower, or shave. Of course I found this out after blowing up the bathroom this morning :hot:

Off to the grocery store to buy a couple gallons of water and take a dump. Im ####ing thirsty and it figures the Brita's empty and the ####ter's full.

It's a pleasure to read something by someone who is so clearly a master of the nuances of the English language.

Doesn't sleeping mess up your hair enough that it needs to be washed to look okay?

People vary widely on this point. Hair length, hair texture, and baseline oiliness all play a role.

Also, a lot of men wake up with "bed head" but after about 30 minutes or so, their hair kind of snaps back to normal.

I've never showered more than twice in a day. And since i don't work out daily, most of my athletic activity takes place on weekends. So instead of showering in the morning those days, i get out of bed to go play whatever sport it is, and shower when i'm done. What's up with these 3-4 showers a day?

Jesus you guys shower a lot.

Once a day in the morning, quick workout before that. Sometimes in July and August one more when I get home if I'm a sweaty mess from the commute, but this is rare.

I think it really depends on what time of day you workout. I always work out in the evening.

Every workday morning not every weekend morning. Rarely a second unless I am a mess from working on the car or something.

Oh, be brave. Put that Brita filter to the test.

Jeez...whole lotta showering going on. I shower once a week...maybe twice. I work in a freaking office, not in a coal mine. Do you guys not wear deodorant or something?

Oily skin is a bee-yotch. Dirties you up even if you spend all day freezing in an ice box. People vary a lot, too, in how much they sweat in skin creases.

Also, for most people with oily hair, after about a day without washing you start getting that Crisco-head look and feeling. Luckier folks can maybe go a second day, but it you've got oily hair ... twice-a-week washing ain't gonna cut it.

Expensive water bills.
