How Much Do These WR's Have Left - Boldin, Welker, Roddy White (1 Viewer)

Boldin turns 32 in October next year, Welker is 31 in May and Roddy White turns 31 in November. 31 isn't old in WR years, but it is getting near the end.

For me, Boldin looks like he's done as someone you can count on every week, especially in the Ravens offense. He still has the talent to put up good numbers, but he's a guy you have to play matchups with. I think he has a couple more years left as WR3 who can put up WR2 numbers in good matchups.

Welker and White are more interesting as they've both just put up top 5 seasons. Welker was the #1 PPR WR but after week 4 he was only #7 the rest of the season. Still great but he put up a few duds. I think he'll put up 3 more top 10 seasons but he does have a few concerns:

- Brady is 35 and will be 38 during the 2014 season.

- The NE TE's have become a big part of the offense and has reduced his consistency.

- If the Patriots sign or draft a good WR it could pressure on his numbers.

White had a disappointing first half of the season and was only the #17 WR after 10 weeks. However, the rest of the season he was the #3 WR. The biggest concern for White is Julio Jones' development (he slightly outscored the last 4 weeks of the season. However, Ryan had a spectacular 2nd half and Gonzo can't play forever so we may be looking at a team with two 100 catch WR's in the near future.

In my opinion Welker and White have several years because of their speed and burst. Boldin was slow when he came into the league and has gotten slower which we all know is natural with age. His separation skills are severely diminished. I think we'll see his numbers continue to decline.

Welker and White will be fine for next year, then look at their 2012 season for what you think about their prospects in 2013....I wont touch Boldin for the rest of his career.

Yep. I see Jones taking a lot of heat off White in 2012. Welker will be Welker and I see more attention paid towards Gronk. Brady then goes back to Welker. Boldin is way too much hit or miss with the misses outperforming the hits.

I also should have put Andre Johnson in this thread since he also turns 31 in July.
