How Will Jay Cutler Fare? (1 Viewer)

I saw a Jay Cutler post already, but it really didn't address how everybody thought he would fare for the rest of the season. As we all know the mad fantasy bomber known as Mike Shannahan has given Cutler the reigns in Denver. Cutler put up an average at best performance against the Seahawks: 142 yards,2 TD's along with 2 picks. His upcoming schedule (@ San Diego, @ Cardinals, vs. Bengals, vs. 49ers) is favorable with the exception of San Diego. He put up 561 yards this pre-season, 3rd best in the NFL. He has all the tools to be successful early in his career along with a superior offensive line, good receivers, and great running backs.

His offensive line is very mediocre as far as pass blocking goes and Cutler is less mobile than Plummer. My biggest concern is his mechanics. He hung the ball low on rollouts and under pressure he would toss the ball up off of his back foot. If not for Marshall's great play he would have put up Grossman-esque numbers. Denver is going to run, run, run the ball and hope their defense can make stands.
