***Howard Stern*** (1 Viewer)

Hillbilly Jack dies in house fire earlier this week.

NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. —A Beaver County man famous for appearing on "The Howard Stern Show" died in a weekend fire that began when he fell asleep while cooking.

Neighbors told the Beaver County Times that Jack Rushman, a.k.a. "Hillbilly Jack," was a local celebrity because of Stern's radio show. He was a member of the "wack pack," a group of outrageous personalities who called or appeared on the show.

Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi says the 55-year-old Rushman died of thermal and inhalation injuries from the fire, which neighbors reported shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday on Locust Lane.

Firefighters said that getting water to the home was a challenge. It's roughly a quarter mile from the nearest hydrant, and the fire was fully involved by the time they arrived.

The victim's brother, Jonas Rushman, of Ambridge, told The Associated Press that his brother began cooking something on the stove then fell asleep in a chair.

A neighbor, Chad Scobie, said Jack Rushman was a "funny and interesting" guy.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Is that the guy that "won" the new Wack Packer contest a few years ago? If so, I don't recall ever hearing from him again after the contest.

Yes. I think that he maybe called in once after that.

So he is certainly not famous and I would say he is a dubious wack packer.

That Bree Olsen interview was great. I feel really bad for her. Seems like a legit nice and good girl who got into porn early and was too late for her to escape by the time she figured things out. Add in the Sheen nightmare and her early childhood and it sounds like a nightmare. Hoping it turns around for her, she sounds sweet.

Poor JD. The bedsheets songs have been hilarious and merciless
Why on Earth would you tell someone in that office that you don't change your bedsheets.

That's putting aside the fact that he, you know, inexplicably never changed his bedsheets.

Why is there so little talk about his contract being up in 9 shows?
Im guessing the deal is pretty much done... I cant see him just not showing up again to end his career. If it wasnt going to get done I would assume there would be at least a week of goodbye shows.

I'm absolutely loving Tan Mom. If I can't have Eric The Midget, fine...Tan Mom has done a great job of replacing him in my opinion.

I guess for me

Wack Packers ranked:

1. Eric The Midget

2. Beetle

3. Big Foot

4. Hank

5. it's early but I'm loving Tan Mom (maybe because compared to the current roster, it's easier to stand out)...if not, Jeff The Drunk or Gary The #######

Robin crying and saying she didn't want the last 5 years to be the way her career ended was the first time I actually liked her. That was nice.

Very surprised its 5 and not 3

I wonder how much he will charge for his app. I wonder if Sirius will take a cut of that or if they got away with paying him less so he could have 100% of the app profits

Any truth to the end on Wednesday?
from sirius, I could easily see that. From his show, no way in hell.
Biggest non story in history of man. Trying to build drama in the most hackneyed way ever.
This is the least drama he's built up for any of his contracts. He barely talked about it.
Agreed, this is why I'm so surprised he's back at sirius, I assumed he was going elsewhere and they weren't letting him promote it.

Listening to the Quentin Tarantino interview from last week....this guy is such a baby.

Crying about Disney not letting his movie be shown in the Cinerama Dome?

I'm not a Disney fan, but I would love for this guy to not get his way.

Listening to him losing his breathe, and smacking his lips while telling this story...."it's not the Star Wars people, it's the DISSSSNEY PEEEPOLE...it's VINDICTIVE, it's MEAN, and it's EXTORTION."

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I love Tarantino movies, but that guy was was an epic ##### bag.

"I live in a pretty nice house. I was looking around, and thought to myself, I built this with my imagination."

Uhhhhhh... If given the choice between spending a weekend with you or eating a big pile of horse ####, all I would ask for... uhhhh... is some ketchup for my horse ####.

Love how they quickly transition off the interesting Riley topic to a phone call from......Gary "the conquerer".

Is Riley the deaf jackhammer operator who they had the workmans comp expert interview...answering every question with 'Huh'?

Haven't listened to Howard since before he left for Sirius, but I've been going through my old VHS tapes and I have most of his old WWOR TV show, That, to me, is part of his golden age. Carry on.
