***Howard Stern*** (5 Viewers)

When Howard was talking about putting his parents in a teepee during Robins News I laughed harder than I have in years. Holy crap... That was just vintage.

This is probably old news, but there's a youtube account that takes characters from the shows or large incidents and cuts them up into consecutive youtube audio clips in chronological order. It's truly amazing.

there is literally 45 hours of Eric the Midget all in chronological order from the beginning of time to just a month or so ago. It's all I've been doing lately as a huge Eric The Midget fan, but he has every wack packer, including former whack packers. Fred Norris centric, Benjy centric, Baba Booey, certain famous show incidents, etc etc etc. All spanning up to 60 hours of just that one character.

If you have a past or current character you just love and want the link, PM me and I'll send it over - I don't want to post it here and blow the guys spot up too much and have it get shut down with too much traffic.

I don't think you'd blow up his youtube account with the traffic coming over from this thread...

I think I found it. His last name is an NFL team, yes?

Show is coma-inducing now.
I skip a lot more of the show now. Usually listen to first 45min. then the WUS. If anything good happened you'll hear about it on the WUS and can go back. Perhaps the J. Hill interview was good but seems like he was just on and I didn't feel the need to listen. Lot of the interviews are like that. Not enough variety.

That said the Doug Stanhope interview was really good.

Hanzi is automatic fast-forward time. King of All Blacks is gold though. He really gets to Gary. I'll always like Gary but boy does he put up a front. You almost get embarrassed for him when he won't cop to something.

I can see it already, they'll start the show at 7am and for the first few months they'll end around 11:30 and gradually work it back to 10:30, maybe 11 on some days.

While amazing, the guy has a ton of repeated segments in his clips. I'm going through the Beetlejuice ones and I've heard Beetlejuice throwing up three times now.

Still much better than Ron and Fez. Who listens to that? I've done it a few times when I'm on travel with only XM in the rental car and no Howard. It's long periods of dead air broken up by a fat guy smacking into the microphone just shooting the ####. Seriously, listening to someone eat for an hour would only be marginally worse.

Oh my God.
I know I'm in the minority but he is, by far, my favorite character in the history of anything. I find his shtick absolutely fascinating and hilarious.

The Golden years of his Idol obsession, the Sanjaya vote push, Fred cutting up his voice with all the drops "Eric the ####### Bed Humper", Ack-Ack, Redrum, etc. Howard goofing on Erics Idol Internet radio show. I can't get enough of it.

These years start around the beginning of Part IX on the Channel I recommended earlier.

It's a tough call between Eric, Hank and Beetle for me. All great. Mr TP is a great man for putting these together.

Crazy to me that someone can't like R&F.

I'll say this because I'm the first to ##### but there haven't been too many vacations so far this spring/summer. Usually he's practically never around in June and he's been on every single week and 3 weeks in May.

Now the bad - the Cia interview and outpouring over her music and how good the interview was. Not interested in the least. I'll pass and I wish we didn't have to hear 30 minutes on it this morning.

Matisyahu didn't really want to play ball, huh? What a terrible segment.
that was odd. I assume they told him what they wanted out of himWhat was benjy screaming about. Heard the end of the wrap up but dont know what they were talking about
He got his ### fingered by Perez Hilton... Something about getting his GF a job on the show.
thanks
It was funny hearing them report this on TMZ calling it a prostate exam and playing a few seconds of the audio. Seeing how Perez Hilton is one of their competitors makes it funnier.

:lmao: :lmao:

Omg. Haven't heard this in years. The Mike Walker payoff is simply the greatest thing I've ever heard. In tears.

This was, by far, the Golden years of Stern. I don't care what anyone says but 03-08 or so are just the greatest years of the greatest radio show ever.

Thank you!
so the years he was single
And the bulk of the Artie years (who IMO was the best part of the show).

Beet is the best. No matter what Howard mentions, he has done it.

==============

Beetle, I hear you won two million dollars playing slot machines.

Yep, two million.

Beetle, I hear you are dating a supermodel.

Yep, TWO beautiful supermodels.

I've been watching tons of beetle clips on youtube lately. I didn't realize he invented the internet and trained Lennox Lewis.

My favorite part of the show when Beetle was on was when they had people call in and talk #### to him. He would go nuts every single time. :lmao:

Know what drives me crazy about Robin? (One of the 5,000 things which drive me crazy about Robin)...

Example: a female guest is in the studio, telling a story about how she was abused by her ex-boyfriend.

Robin: "Why didn't she leave him sooner?"

Not.... "Why didn't YOU leave him sooner?"

She asks the question to nobody in particular, even though the guest is sitting ten feet away.

I spent the last 2 days listening to every single Elliot Offen appearance.

My 2nd favorite wackpacker behind Eric The Bed Humper.

I loved the maniacal laugh during the football pick contest, threatening to kill baba booey and his love of Artie. Of course this was the Stern golden age and every bit was as funny as ever.
