***Howard Stern*** (3 Viewers)

Missed it this morning - got bored w/Lisa Rinna and turned it off.
It baffles me sometimes why they have certain people in studio. Why would ANYONE give two ####s about Lisa Rinna. I didn't hear one second of it, and don't care what I missed.
Howie thinks shes like the hottest chick on the planet for some reason
Look, I "know a guy" who used to watch Days of our Lives when she was on it, and she was smoking hot. Then she went out of the public spotlight and came back with lips that look like she got popped in the face.

Now finally she appears to have listened to reason and took Howard's advice to stop with the puffy lips.

She came back in, looked tons better, and because she listened to Howard, and Howard loves nothing more than being proven right then of course he has to act like she's the hottest thing on the planet because of him.

It's been said before, but why oh why are they playing crap today from 10 years ago when they could easily replay any show from the past 2 weeks?

Hes been infatuated with her since Dancing With the Stars

I was about to turn off Lisa Renna but stayed with it and it turned out to be a pretty good interview. I know nothing about her but I love when a "celebrity" reveals a lot of stuff that they'll probably regret 10 minutes after leaving.

and Richard Lewis was a funny one too.

thanks for the EtM clip Raider Nation!

and listening to MTT reminds me about how amazing Howard would be when he got involved like he did with the Frank Gifford citizens arrest. Hilarious. I'd still rather have The Friday Show.

Calling a police station live on the air to get Frank Gifford arrested for adultery is brilliant. It reminds us how much the show's spirit has fallen apart.

have listened forever, can't really remember when I started. antenna went on fritz about a month ago, finally got set back up (and spent a ton of cash on a indash setup) and now I can't really get into the show for some reason. Weird. Just not doing much for me these days.

That's not because of your antenna. It sucks lately. A lot of the time, I'll listen and Howard will talk about the expensive work he's doing on his house or his housekeeper or some other snobbish-garbage with Robin. Talking about your rich lifestyle is not why you're popular, Howard.

Nothing really major but some sexual discussions about being TF'd and her "hand" technique. Just the kinda stuff that you know advisors probably wished she didn't say.

Now that I work mostly from home, I hear almost all of the show with the replays. I don't ever remember him even mentioning having a housekeeper or anything about house renovations.

former O&A listener here, before I got a new car with Sirius in it.

Just wondering for those of you who listen to O and A, are they as obsessed with the merger as Howard is?

I know I wasn't hallucinating when I heard it.Still, you have to agree that Howard has lost a lost of his edge.

Well you say it he talks about it "A lot of the time" when you listen. Has he lost his edge...hell yeah. This is clearly the twilight of his career.

I wouldn't be shocked if he does end it when this contract is done.

It'll be a sad day because NO ONE comes close still, IMO

I don't listen to him much anymore really. I've said it once and I'll say it again: Howard brought me into Sirius, Bubba's keeping me there.

I've tried with Bubba, just can't get into it.Love Breuer Unleashed though.

It took me a while to get into Bubba. Like the announcer on his show says, he's an acquired taste.

I must be in the minority here but I can't stand ETM. I turn it off when he comes on.
I think he's radio gold every time. sorry
 Sorry Frank, you are wrong pal.
I was in the "he sucks" camp for a long time, but I think it is really that you have to wait it out to "get" why this is funny. The stuff on Valentine's day was absolute gold, b/c you realize that ETM is not a typical whack packer, but rather he feels a sense of entitlement and control about being on the show. Like he is doing howard a favor. Once you see that angle, it is really some great radio. (I didn't notice this until gary listed eric's "demands" for going on on valentine's day. Then I realized how self important eric feels, and the whole thing finally made sense). Why Ralph is still on this show is really the question.

It's probably true for any talk show. Gotta get into the lingo and the vibe of the show to truly appreciate it. I actually don't dislike Bubba and probably should give him more of a shot.

When Eric told Fratto to zip it I nearly shat myself.I'm in the minority it appears but Ralph is one of my favorites on the show.Hi-pitch Eric is my favorite but ETM, Ralph and Bigfoot are pretty close.

I don't really know enough about Fratto to get the whole dynamic there. Obviously he's using Eric but when Eric shut him down I was shocked at the response. I actually like Ralph too. Sure he's a ####, but he adds to the show and doesn't drag it down. I'm not as big of a Hi-Pitch fan though. I can deal with him but he's such a scum backstabbing user. Bigfoot is gold. I'm not sure who my favorite wackpacker is.

This is the very essence of several wack packers: Hi Pitch Eric, Wendy the #######, Jeff the Drunk etc.

actually, I used to dig that. Liked looking in one the lives. Now, I don't care.

I listened to O&A exclusively when my antenna went down. They just do their own thing. Nothing like the old pre-sex for sam show. The must get Xm plugs as part of their contract, but they don't seem to give a #### about it. Betting a better deal with KROC and syndication would pay them boatloads more. That is where their money is at. They are never getting Stern-Sirius money.

What does he say more often:- "the fact of the matter is..."- "anything else, Robin?"
"anything else Robin" is at least only during the news. "the fact of the matter is" he says all damn show. Drives me nuts. I also hear Sal, Fred and Steve Langford (penis, penis) use it a lot too now.

Damn, vaca next week.Makes Artie's days off that much more ridiculous.
I wish someone would tally the amount of days Artie worked on the show the past year. Over/Under 160?
Considering they work 4 days/week for less than 52 weeks, I'll take the under. Easiest friggin job in history
Actually they get 10 weeks off a year, so it is 42 weeks. So he is starting from a base of 168.
Wow, hack off weekday holidays and they really dont work much huh.

2008 show vacation days thus far:1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/21, 2/18, 2/19, 2/20, 2/21, 2/22Not to mention, EVERY Friday.
I just wish Bubba didn't return to terrestrial radio in the mornings so we could at least have a live show when Howard has a case of the "I don't want to work today."
