Thread title is supposed to read: "Hypothetical Question: Harvin/McFadden/Murray remain out until your fantasy playoffs, do you start them when they return?"

If you bench em, who do you have on your team that you plan on starting over them?

Unless you have a super team/hit every hot WW pickup/late round picks, you mostlikely don't have the depth to overcome losing a late first and late 3rd/early 4th round pick if you lost these two.

Yeah. I have Harvin in both leagues, and if he doesn't return next week I am left with DX to replace him. I was just wondering what the shark protocol is with benching/starting your returning fragile studs in the playoffs..

This trio comprises 3 of my first 4 picks in one league. The fourth was Newton.

A better question would be: What's the plan for 2013? No playoffs with this trio.

I drafted all three (first, second, and fourth rounds) and am 9-2 with the #1 seed locked up...it just depends on the rest of your team.I have a week 14 bye, so I'm hoping to see them in action before that game. I would probably play Harvin directly off an injury, but I'd be more inclined to wait and see with Murray and McFadden.

I'm making the playoffs with owning a three or four combination of these guys in leagues. The answer to your questions like in what got you to the playoffs... for instance in several of the leagues I was fortunate enough to grab Reece and fill him in with McFadden. To a lesser extent I've picked up Felix in my Murray leagues but drafted enough depth where I had other options. With McFadden, if he is announced the starter, since my other option would be Reece I'd have to go with McFadden. In my leagues with Murray I've either had drafted backups become better options (Spiller, Ridley) or traded for Chris Johnson.

With Harvin since the Vikings have said he isn't playing unless he is 100 percent and the fact that he is without a doubt their top WR threat, I'd consider him a WR2 and an obvious start in any format.

Harvin l luckily have cobb. Murray has been dropped for Moreno. McFadden l honestly forgot is on my team. I guess beanie wells is his replacement.
