I scored Masters tickets this year. For the 15th anniversary of my dad's kidney, and him turning 80 this summer, I gave him and my mom those tickets. They are driving up from Florida as I type this. Going to get half way there and finish the drive in the morning. 2 tickets for 4 days - they will be exhausted (and my dad full of beer) but I type this to again encourage everyone to be a donor. Without my kidney, my dad would not be here. Yet, here he is 15 years later going to the ****ing Masters to get ****ty drunk!!

the other night the wife and I were watching a netflix doc series on NY area hospitals. There was a family they highlight where a father was giving a kidney to his 13 year old son. My wife jumps up and yells "I know them!!!" Turns out it was a kid she taught in 1st grade and the mom works in my daughter's high school. We had no idea their son needed this treatment. It was a beautiful segment to watch.
