I’m about to head to the airport to catch a flight to South America. Phoenix - Dallas - Buenos Aires - Ushuaia.

I hang out in Ushuaia for a couple days then hop on a 180 person ship to cross the Drake Passage (2 days ), then four stops in Antarctica, across the Drake Passage again, then home.

2 weeks total. I’ll post pics!

I just like being on my schedule and really, I enjoy being alone. I’m sure some day I’ll want to travel with a partner again, but today ain’t it!

I used Swoop to help me book it. They were super helpful. Compared all the ships and expeditions in one place and really laid it out nicely.

That's amazing, especially considering that I've never been off North America

I have all but a small handful of states yet to visit but never been overseas. Hoping to change that at some point.

I have a couple books about people crossing the Drake Passage that I brought with me to read. I don’t think that’s one of them. And I got a new phone and can’t remember my Apple password, so I can’t download this one

But I WILL check it out!
