Responsible voices were difficult to seperate out from the braying cacaphony this fall, and yet those voices did exist. Now, in the aftermath, the jackasses have fled leaving behind those who deserve no vitriol to absorb it all. It must be hard to do so with dashed hopes, yet some are doing so manfully.

Why would i apologize for something not in my control? I just buy the ticket and go to the game. I'm not looking for sympathy - I'm happy for the Giants and now have to rely on the World Champion Red Sox to raise my sporting spirits.

Now I know how Rams fans felt after SB36. It's funny rooting for a team that has been on both sides of these types of upsets. Oh well. It happens. Being a fan of the only 19-0 team would have been great, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Kudos to the Giants and their fans.

Yesterday's game is what sports is all about: The upstart underdog from out of nowhere beats the overconfident, cocky overwhelming favorite. Unfortunately for me, my team was the latter.

Congrats to the Giants and their fans. Just an amazing "shock the world" performance last night that even this Pats fan can appreciate. You were the tougher, smarter, "clutchier" team last night and you guys have a TON to be proud of this postseason. That was one of the more remarkable runs in NFL history.

Hate to be master of the obvious here, but I don't think losing the lead in the game's final minute qualifies as any kind of stomping. Besides, if the Giants don't make some incredible plays on that final touchdown drive, then today we're all talking about how the Patriots are the G.O.A.T. IMO you're just being a TOOL

In all seriousness, when I went into the Giants thread to congratulate their fans, the Usual Suspects amongst the Pats fans seemed almost to a man to be missing from offering any congratulations. Kudos to the Pats fans like bostonfred and brady2moss (and any others I missed) for the class they showed in there.
