When is the last time your team had a player get in trouble with the law or get suspended by the league? I can tell ya the Cowboys have not had any of that stuff in a long time. They may get players that are coming off a suspension but as a Cowboy nothing like that. Let's see if tere is another team withthe track record of the Cowboys just over the last 2 years.

Look at me...my team only takes thugs in, nobody gets in trouble.

Cowboys always want credit for doing #### they supposed to do.

[/Chris Rock]

The team has Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones.... Only difference is in texas you can brandish firearms to your hearts content, and im guessing the legal system in the south probably turns more of a blind eye to their beloved Cowboys.

Not really looking for all this smart ### talk with no facts. Just want to see if there is another franchise that has had success controlling their players over the last few seasons. With the way the media loves to dig and find out what players are doing wrong it is a very hard thing to do whether it is the Cowboys or the Detroit Lions. It is just crazy how people get their panties in a bunch over any thing Cowboys related. Face it they are the #1 franchise in the league and have made the league what it is today a money machine and Americas past time.

So wrong if anything Dallas has a much smaller room for error then any other team in the league with all the coverage it receives. Just a stupid statement.

So...they did not have a coach get busted and suspended?

So...TO did not OD and cause a big issue?

Basically, you are trying to brag/be defensive about your team because in recent years they have not had many issues.

Yippee!!!!

Cowboys WR Jefferson Suspended 4 Games

The NFL has suspended Dallas Cowboys practice squad WR Mike Jefferson four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

If there was a vomiting smiley I would use it.The Cowboys have made the league what it is today? By being one of (note that please - ONE OF) the most successful franchises, winning some Super Bowls in decades past, and fielding a usually pretty decent team? Pittsburgh and San Francisco fit those same requirements - oh, and without the blind arrogance of some Dallas fans.Pete Rozelle and Gene Upshaw had more to do with making the NFL what it is today than the Cowboys franchise.

I will play along and I am not a fan of any of these teams.

Dolphins,

Redskins,

Eagles,

Packers,

Seahawks,

Eagles

These are just a few of the teams that come to mind.

No just wondering why people get so worked up, well I know why (jealous) but Dallas is on the right track and I think there are a lot of teams that need to follow in their footsteps and take MORE TME with their players and show them the right thing to do. Whatever Dallas has been doing is working and other teams need to be asking themselves are we doing enough for our players to teach them to do the right thing in certain situations. Dallas has spent lot of time in this area over the years and I think other teams need to do this as well or this road of bad player behavior will never go away.

Cross off the Packers.Barnett was arrested last year in a dispute in a bar.John Jolly this year caught with a bunch of liquid Codeine and is still awaiting a hearing. That is just the quick list.

Dude scroll up like 4 posts lol. A dallas player just got suspended. You should really follow the news of your own team before you start an asinine thread like this.

How about some more questions that matter :excited: , How many super bowls have the

Cowboys won in the past 2 years? How many other teams have had players cry on national TV :excited:

There are plenty of other teams doing things the right way too.Id call it more luck than anything at this point. There will generally be about 2 guys on almost any team that will get into something. No matter how much you tell them not to.No matter how many body guards you put with a guy like Pac.

Ok was not aware of that, that right there shows you how hard it is. Why all the hatred? Dallas has did a great job in this area do we really have to go over every team and see how many players have been suspended or run ins with the law over the last few years. I bet Dallas tops the list of the least or is near the top yet they are looked at as a outa control franchise.

You call it hatred and jealousy...but you want to know what it is...its laughing at the Cowboys fans. This thread is why people act that way towards you all. Because some of you think so much of yourselves as Cowboys fans to start such an arrogant thread.

Ok cool atleast this is a statement with out a smart ### comment or hatred. Watching players and helping them stay outa trouble off the field is not a bad thing is it? WOW it took about 20 posts to get a legit conversation going about teams and how they are doing and dealing with players off the field issues and if there is a franchise that is being as successful as Dallas has been the last few years. I add Dallas into the conversation and all people want to do is act like a bunch of ######'ssss.

this thread will be added to my as an example as to why 4 digit + members shouldn't be allowed to start threads.

Everything is BIGGER in Texas, Egos included.

With due respect to Texas, there are many who are owed credit for the state of the game today. Having done "more" for football is not the same as rostering choirboys. Take Al Davis, for example. Like him or not, and he has cetainly rostered some dooosey characters, he has done as much for the NFL as anybody could.

NFL CRIME

The following figures are based on 385 arrests compiled since 2000 at www.uniontrib.com/more/nflarrests.

BAD BOYS

Teams with the most arrests since 2000:

Minnesota 29

Cincinnati 27

Denver 20

Kansas City 20

Miami 19

Jacksonville 18

Tennessee 18

Chargers 16

Teams with the most arrests since January 2007:

Denver 8

Jacksonville 8

Miami 7

Minnesota 6

Pittsburgh 5

WELL-BEHAVED

Team with the fewest arrests since 2000:

St. Louis 5

Teams with the fewest arrests since January 2007:

San Francisco 0

Dallas 0

Kansas City 0

Arizona 0
So Dallas, KC, AZ, & SF are the only ones in the last 2 years (actually 1 1/2 yrs, and I don't know about time from April, when this was published, to today) with no arrests. And St. Louis with fewest arrests in the last 8 years. Are they doing something right or just dumb luck?

Who else is shocked Cinncy is only #2 ?!?! Way to go Vikings, you're #1...

Are you expecting congratulations because they haven't been arrested?People aren't supposed to get arrested.

So dallas has had no arrests in the last 45 mins... great. Let's pick arbitrary timeframes :lmao:

HOw about this one:

BOYS WILL BE BOYS

Pearlman explores the many other people who bought into the philosophy that if you were going to be a Dallas Cowboy... you needed to live the life—and that meant, in the early '90s, plenty of infidelity, cocaine, nightly trips to gentleman's clubs and hangovers at practice.

But for a team that was so dominant on Sundays, the Cowboys were often a dysfunctional circus the rest of the week. Irvin, nicknamed "The Playmaker," battled dual addictions to drugs and women. Charles Haley, the defensive colossus, presided over the team's infamous "White House," where the parties lasted late into the night and a steady stream of long-legged prostitutes came and went.

:lmao:

June 21, 2008, The Associated Press has reported Jones' $1.5 million home in foreclosure. The home and 30 acres, located in a Nashville suburb, will be sold June 27 on the steps of the old Williamson County Courthouse.[55]

Nice to see Pacman is back on the right track since becoming a Cowboy :lmao:

When is the last time your team had a player get in trouble with the law or get suspended by the league?
I'm a Broncos homer, and I can't remember the last time one of the Broncos players got into trouble with the law or suspended by the league.Man, Alzheimer's disease does have it's advantages. At least they're not the Bengals
