i just found the motherlode. ten yard torrents.com (1 Viewer)

Sure enough, three from the top in the "00s" thread - NFL.Super.Bowl.39.Patriots.vs.Eagles.720p.x264-TRE :kicksrock:

Thanks alot Hipple, this is pretty amazing stuff. Got vacation coming up in a week, definitely hitting alot of this up.

FWIW I think the original link is misleading. It takes you to their forum where it appears most of the older uploads were using a demonoid tracker which of course is gone now. I finally figured it out: You need to go to tenyardtracker.com and sign up there. Search for torrents with the search function on that site and when you find what you want click on it where you will be brought to the details page for the torrent. At the very top is a "Download" heading with a link right next to it. That is what you want.

Could have just been me having problems, though, I dunno but when I tried downloading some 99 Rams from the forums I was getting dead links, also tried some of the Torrents linked in this thread which were also dead.

What software do I need?
Any torrent program. I use utorrent (smallest program iirc) on my computer an Ttorrent on my tablet/android devices.Just download torrent/magnet link and when you click a torrent click download. Easy as pie.If magnet like don't work for you it most likely means you need to upgrade our torrent program as some older torrents hang on Manet links.

you need some kind of torrent client -- I use utorrent.if you're googling around for one be sure to find commentary on it because anything you install can be filled with anything.all these sites post a list of torrent trackers which connect you to other users and enable you to d/l bits and pieces of teh file from many users at once.once the torrent client is installed, all you do is click on the posted tracker link, select 'open' if that choice pops up, and the client should launch automatically.I'd also suggest d/l'ing and running peerguardian2 when you d/l torrents -- it supposedly helps screen you from various agencies who will be upset with your illegal activities, but bear in mind, whenever you d/l a torrent your ip is visible, and you open yourself up to angry e-mails.I haven't investigated torrent clients in a few years, so there are very possibly current solutions to hide you that I am unaware of.and you guys will need to join that site to access teh torrent list.edit: utorrent has an app you can get for your phone so you can select torrents with teh app and they will d/l on your comp at home.

Report dead links and they claim they'll fix em. Reading through the comments there seem o be a few users Who have libraries of these at home. They take requests to upload specific new ones (is 'can you upload some more late 70s steelers ones etc) Fwiw I have no affiliation. Did of even think that people wold torrent/ upload old games. I almost wish I found this in the offseason.

Peer guardian is Mac.'peer block' is for windows. Same deal.

the windows version used to be called peerguardian a while back -- it just changed to peerblock as they updated it to keep pace with windows.

ps

torrent netiquette is to 'seed' torrents after you are done d/l'ing them, which just means to leave the program running which will make your file available to others like yourself trying to d/l it.

torrents are based on this whole network of people downloading and uploading simultaneously, so bear in mind, as you d/l you are also uploading to others, which is primarily what various entities get upset about.

I've gotten a couple e-mails objecting to my d/l'ing eps of 30 rock.

different isp's will likely have different tolerance levels.

Yeah, it's a great site. Been using it for years. They usually have every game shortly after it airs and all the high light and analysis shows as well.

Wow. This is pretty sweet!

It seems to have since 2006 covered well. But the a a a decent about of other games too.
Thanks for the link. There are some absolutely CLASSIC games I remember from 20+ years ago I would love to rewatch. I was always disappointed that the NFL doesn't sell DVD's of old games, and wondered if someday they would be lost altogether. So I'm really glad to see this out there.

But I assume these games are copyrighted by the NFL, and therefore protected by the DMCA. So keep in mind that torrent monitoring is at an all time high right now. http://thenextweb.com/insider/2012/09/04/new-research-most-top-torrents-monitored-ip-address-logged-within-three-hours/.

What does everyone recommend for some old-time classic games to watch? Downloading the Bills/Giants Super Bowl now.

Been on this site for a while. Stopped watching when rdzn and internet streams became popular. Just make sure you reseed or they will ban you.
