TO is the player to have as a WR3 this year based on his ADP (7.06 but skyrocketing). May very well put up WR1 numbers. He has looked fantastic so far.

That is all.

Hey Whodey,

You just posted in a thread titled "Ocho isn't the guy to draft, TO is" not 20 minutes ago. This statement could have easily been said in there rather than create a thread to say draft TO and we'll thank you.

I will draft him though, so thank you.

I needed my own thread.I love me some me.

After watching Palmer, I think Leinart has a canon for an arm. Stay clear of the bungles passing game...and thank ME later!

TO's letter to whodey nation

Dear Bengals Nation,Feb. 6, 2011 is now marked on my calendar with a big orange circle. As I joined the Cincinnati Bengals and continue my career I'm very excited with the opportunity to be in pursuit of the championship.First off, I'm thankful to Mike Brown and the Bengals organization for giving me another opportunity to play football.Second, I'm certain in life nothing is guaranteed - but for us to win the Super Bowl it will take a total team effort.Third, I'm promising you that the focus will be stronger than you've ever seen it. Life isn't always easy but it's the bumps along the way that makes you stronger. With my "me against the world" mentality as a young man, I've learned that life can be more challenging but I've matured. If it wasn't for the support of my grandmother and the love of my family and true friends, I would be lost. My faith, confidence and maturity keeps me strong and focused on more than just T.O.The Bengals are now my extended family and I look forward to learning more about your city, teammates, coaches and you all. This is my home and I'm happy to be in the Midwest. I'm confident in our team's chances of winning the title, so anything less than the playoffs is unacceptable to us. It will definitely take a fight but if my gut is correct, Who Dey Nation will be proud this season. I signed here for a reason. With hard work and unity, this team will restore power and respect. We're focused on playing in Texas on Feb. 6. Just take a look at my calendar, the date is saved. Let's make the Jungle roar this season!Yours truly,Terrell Owens aka T.O. aka "I'm Batman!"

Then I guess it was a good thing I got him in a draft for my dynasty league in the 15 round last month as my WR 7

Except maybe Gresham. TO requires they go to him early and often. That is going to blow up in their faces before too long.

We haven't seen too much yet, but so far Carson Palmer looks like his arm is used up. I'm not a fan of their offensive line's pass blocking either. I will agree that TO looks to still have something left.

Terrell Owens caught three balls for 67 yards in the Bengals' preseason opener Friday night. If the preseason is any indication, T.O. will overtake Chad Ochocinco to be the Bengals' No. 1 receiver this year. Ocho all but admitted it's going to happen in a fourth-quarter interview. Owens whipped Joselio Hanson down the right sideline on a 43-yard bomb, and now has nine catches for 108 yards through three preseason games compared to Ochocinco's 3/33 line.

Hey Jerry,Did you watch last night's preseason game? I'm just asking because I came away with an entirely different opinion on Palmer's arm. I thought he threw it with some zip, he was relatively accurate and I liked that he was stepping into his throws when the offensive line provided that kind of protection which in last night's game pretty often.

I've watched all the preseason games so far and it seems that Palmer falls right in the middle arm-wise. I don't think he's done, but I'm not sold on the Bengals passing game rebirth either.I still think this is Benson's team and he is going to benefit most from all this.

I agree with the Palmer arm assessment - he has an average arm now.As far as the passing game: While it might not be a "rebirth" I still think they will be in the top 1/2 of offenses in the NFL. What other #1 WR can you grab in the 7th round (or later) in that scenario?

That's pretty much what I saw, too. He looked fine.

I'm in an auction league so it all comes down to price for me. If two owners go on a TO frenzy (quite possible given his talent and legacy) then I'm out. But I agree that in terms of value TO will probably perform close to Ocho and come at a much lower price. Final thought on Palmer: he may not have the arm, but he looks confident and strong and is going to make good decision. I'm very excited about the Bengals this year even though they play in a tough division.

I am on board with this 100%. I think TO gets more catches and TDs than 85.
