No, clearly not. I'm going on evidence-based Gallup and Pew polls that talk about terrorism and racism and power structures that have led to the opinion polls. I'd have to look them up, but they're alarming.

There is no legitimate discussion on racism, sexism or bigotry to be had in America anymore.  The Left has weaponized all of this stuff for their own political gain, and that's really all that matters to them.  They don't care about their hypocrisy because they really don't care about the issues.  Islamic abuses of women?  Eh, doesn't affect me directly.  Blacks locked in generational poverty and dependent on the welfare teet?  Eh, good for us.  Just means more energized Democratic voters.  This comes straight from the horse' mouth of the man who started the modern Liberal welfare system  - LBJ.  See what he had to say about blacks and why he wanted to "help" them.

Then you're not listening.  It's convenient to pawn it off on others, but it's not wise.  I live in a pretty racially charged area of the country and it's discussed frequently, in a very productive way.  Things are changing slowly here.  Of course some crazy racist incidents have pushed that discussion along, but it's been nothing but steps in the right direction in an area I saw little hope in.  Sucks that you're missing out.
