I will not draft him in any league this year because of his show, granted most of the the shows on that 24 Hour Fantasy Radio station suck, but his is the worst. The whole "no disrespect" is annoying enough already we get it, his co host is even worse don't know the guys name. Is there really a need for a 24 hour show of idiots that call up and ask which keeeper they should keep or what player they should draft in X spot. Why manage a team if your just going to ask "experts" who to pick for their teams. Also Who annoints these hosts "experts" how do you become a fantasy football expert? I might be alone here but MJD will not be on any of my teams there year, yet a lone take him with the first pick like he suggests, yea thanks MJD go kneel on the 1 again you bum.

Well, you need to have a high draft pick, probably top 3 in your league to even get him so you may not have to worry about it.But if you're sitting at 3 or 4 and you pass on this guy due to the fact he has a radio show you don't like, you probably shouldn't be in any leagues that require money to play. Personally I like the fact he knows about fantasy football and it's in the back of his mind.

Ya, he did it. He did it to keep the clock running at the end of the game. The defense was basically letting him score so they could get the ball back and try to score a late TD themselves but he realized what the D was doing so he got to the 1 and laid down.I think that was Westbrook that kneeled at the one. He also apoligized to his fantasy owners after that game. I like that he's thinking about fantasy and numbers.....he doesn't disappoint too many times, should be another big season for MJD.

Exactly. I enjoy listening to it some. I would like to hear more stats on then players rather than just their opinions on what to do or who to draft however.

While I don't agree with the idea of not drafting him because of the show, I have to agree 100% with your thoughts about the show. The "No disrespect" bit has to be the most annoying thing I've heard on radio, and MJD's "expertise" in FFB leaves a lot to be desired. The show is an absolute waste of time; no decent FFB analysis, and even less entertainment value.
But hell, you have to draft him at the 3 or 4 spot regardless!

If I avoid MJD in the first round i'll be just fine with Rice,AJ or Gore. The Draft isn't won in the first 5 picks of the draft. Its my team if I don't like somone i'm not drafting him doesn't mean I'm less of an expert then anyone else. I just go by my gut. Everyone gets caught up in what they "should" do, when in fact you have no idea what this season is going to bring. Some people might not draft Big ben or Michael vick because they don't like them, doesn't mean they don't belong playing fantasy football.and the whole " i like that he has fantasy in the back of his mind" argument...so you think that its ok if he kneels at the 1 yard line as long as he apologizes after? granted great move for his Jags not for you. He's a cop out , he plays the apology card and then the " no disrespect " card so no one in the league gets pissed if he talks down about them on the program. I havnt listened to the show, and I have no interest in MJD as a radio show host. What does his radio show have to do with how he plays football though? I dont draft players i like or avoid those i do not like. I dont know Michael Vick, but i am pretty sure i would not like him as a person, that would in no way stop me from choosing him in a FF league if i thought he was the best available player at that spot.You are right about one thing, a draft isnt won in the first round, but it can be lost in the first.
Also, it does make you less of an "expert" taking an inferior player because you dont like the better player due to something that has nothing to do with his performance on the field.
