I would love to see the rest of your draft. That is pretty impressive. You can't win your league in the first round, but you can lose it. DT was a late round gamble?'Rooster said:Can't say I've won, but I'm in the championship game (2 week game) with a 17 point lead going into next week and I've overcome my top 3 picks being McCoy, McFadden, and Murray. I did that by 1) picking RG3 late and starting him the whole way 2) hitting on later-round gambles like RG3 and Demaryus Thomas and 3) working waiver wire opportunities early (like Alfred Morris after the draft but before the season started, picking up Hernandez and holding 2 TEs after he was dropped due to his injury) to build depth before I needed it and 4) dumb luck (picking up SEA Defense in week 2 after someone dropped them for a better matchup).

25th WR off the board for my league, so I guess it depends on your definition of late. Granted, my league had a few head scratchers that went before DT, but he was still solidly a low-end WR2 at the time and has turned into a very solid mid-to-high end WR1. For me, pretty much everyone after round 5 has some serious question marks and to have them be a very solid top 10 position player is a home run. Back when we drafted nobody was sure if Eric Decker or DT was going to be the guy in Denver, for proof, I submit this thread from after our draft with a 50/50 split on who would have the better season. Decker ended up going as the 29th WR. I consider DT a gamble that paid off.DT was a late round gamble?'Rooster said:Can't say I've won, but I'm in the championship game (2 week game) with a 17 point lead going into next week and I've overcome my top 3 picks being McCoy, McFadden, and Murray.
