Now I know why you're never invited to parties. It's very funny, and also sad.
But it does trouble me that here we're supposed to have a two party system, and yet 90% of African-Americans (or higher) vote only for one of the two parties. That's a higher percentage than any other ethnic group. It can't be healthy for our future.
Don't worry, Republicans are busy creating ways to suppress their voting numbers. Much easier than changing your policies to win over disenfranchised voters. It's very funny, and also sad.

...and why aren't more Jews voting for the neo-nazi party. It just isn't fair! It's very funny, and also sad.

Not as sad as your post, unless this is trolling. You get your hair cut at a black barbershop IIRC, have you ever asked them why they don't vote GOP? If not, then do so at your next visit and get back to us.timschochet said:It's very funny, and also sad.

We've talked about it. Everyone there says the Republicans are racist. I have attempted to argue that it's not so, but they're convinced that it is, mostly because of one unfortunate anecdote after another (and of course what they viewed as voter suppression against blacks in the last election organized by the GOP. Christo and others can laugh about this all they want, but the black people I know don't find it very amusing.)Blacks in this country have always generally supported liberalism because it meant more rights for blacks. That meant that after the Civil War they were almost all Republican. When the GOP became more conservative and the Dems more liberal, blacks shifted to the Dems. But the civil rights era is long past now. There is lingering racism yet in this country , but I believe blacks should be free, like the rest of is , to decide who to vote for based on larger issues than their own ethnicity. Not as sad as your post, unless this is trolling. Turn that on its head and you'll find the actual problem. Only one party today appeals to a wide variety of voters:timschochet said:It's very funny, and also sad.

are you suggesting that if ethnicity were not a factor, 90% of blacks would still vote Democrat?Blacks are free to vote based on issues larger than their ethnicity, and they do so.We've talked about it. Seriously. Several of the states that voted for him did not have voter ID laws, yet the lamestream media continues to ignore the story.'Who thinks "Hey, the guy who ran Romney's campaign did a great job. Let's hire him for a social media campaign!"??

Here's a WaPo article with a graph going back to 1952, it looks like? You can also mouse over the line graph and see the data points for each election:do you have numbers or hard research(links) to support this positiontimschochet said:It's very funny, and also sad.
