Hearing possibility Gore may not be Active today both on Radio Fantasy show and Fantasy news site. Although offense has been pathetic Eagles defense can be run on.

I would see Hunter running attempts around 22

What would you expect out of Hunter's carries today?

22 caries and 100 yards or 22 caries 30 yards.

Yes. The news earlier was that Gore was out. It doesn't matter. Gore is probably scared of losing his starting job... Gore will be ineffective as usual if he's in there.

The wildcard is the Eagles run D. This is the worst one we've faced this year.

Under normal conditions I'd expect the usual 2-3 YPC for Hunter and Dixon in on short yardage/GL. But with the Eagles' D, who knows, maybe he'll break a couple.

So floor, 50-60 yards, no TD. Ceiling, unpredictable lotto ticket.

Probably best to bench them both. Gore is too proud to let Hunter have the start. My guess is he's hurting.

I feel if Gore is healthy enough to be active and start as they are saying now then I would think Gore gets his normal load. If there was a doubt in his ankle I dont think he would be playing. I dont think this was left up to Gore but by the doctor and the coach on if he could make the cuts. Once playing I think the adrenalin and pain killers will keep him in. As far as I know this was not considered a high ankle sprain. I would think he will have his best game of the year. Saying this i benched him for Felix Jones.

Responding to my own post. Now that Hunter gets the start I have lost faith in Gore for the day, obviously he is hurting, it's not like the 49ers gave Hunter the start for any other reason, Hunter should be a good play today, avoid Gore, he'll likely get 3-5 touches if that is my best guess, he must not be recovered from the ankle. Plugging someone in for Gore in all leagues i have him.

I picked him up in a couple leagues last week, but I can't get him in there today. I really don't think he's going to gash the Eagles. It's in Philly, and I'm sure they've worked on their rush D this week. I'll just stash him away for now.

No way in hell would I start him over Moore. Saints are going to light up the Jags..

I don't believe this at all. The head coach watched the usual starter run immediately before the game and said - Hunter is starting. Gore's ankle will not get better. I say it is at least 80% Hunter today.

They will definitely stack the box against the 49ers. With the secondary they have, vs the SF passing game.. they'll just play man coverage and stop the run. This will be a good game for the Eagles defense and it should be a blowout. SF will eventually have to abandon the run. Lots of 3 and outs. Not a lot of total offensive plays for SF.
