He's definitely the best McCown playing QB in the NFL.

Terrific passing matchup at home vs SD next week...

He's definitely worth a pickup if your QBs are driving you up the wall, yet you're still alive.

:tumbleweed: Signed,Josh Johnson dynasty owner
McCown owners should be :kicksrock: too, simply because he's an FA next year (and Garcia is too)The TB QB situation is completely up in the air next year, and maybe McCown can get his foot in the door these last few weeks. Johnson will get his shot eventually. A team doesnt carry a 4th QB on the active roster for that long unless they:A) Want to see what he can doB) Think that they can't stash him safely on the practice squad

Care to weigh in on your thoughts on Antonio Bryant if McCown starts (can do it here or here?TIA

bump.

(Rotoworld) Luke McCown's new two-year contract with the Bucs has a base value of $7.5 million, but could escalate to $14 million via incentives.Analysis: McCown received $2.5M to sign and he'll get a $2.5M base salary in each of the next two seasons. The contract is worth more than a typical backup deal and shows that McCown will get a chance to start. It remains to be seen who exactly he'll battle, but his main competition now looks to be Brian Griese.
(Rotoworld) Bucs QB Luke McCown confirmed that he was promised a chance to start by new coach Raheem Morris and GM Mark Dominik.Analysis: According to the St. Petersburg Times, Morris and Dominik envision McCown as the "quarterback of the future," which may be a stretch. McCown boasts a strong arm, plenty of athleticism, and has posted promising numbers in Tampa, but he's also shown no feel for the pass rush. Former Bills QB Rob Johnson may be a good comp.(Article Link)
Definitely worth a flyer in dynasty leagues.
