Basketball for me simply because its the sport I enjoy playing most.  Top 10, so what?  I'm pulling in at least $20MM a year?!! Plus endorsements.  I'd probably remain low key tbh.  The travel would be the huge downfall for me. I'm too much of a homebody.

People are picking golf "because you can play forever and have a long career"? #### that. Pick a higher paying sport and retire at 30.

I went soccer. It's may favorite sport to play. You ####ers almost talked me out of it because it would be hard as #### to work that hard with only a few weeks off a year. If you're top 10 you're playing for your country. You get a week or so between club and international games then 2 weeks after international games before back at club. Tons of travel. Living somewhere I would necessarily pick to live... But #### it. Kick ###, have a blast, retire at 30 and live the #### up from there. Ok, maybe 30-34 cash some MLS checks and party across the USA on a retirement tour.

2nd might be Nascar for me. Seems like I can do that without affecting a party lifestyle, and driving is more fun than golf. ####, a trip to the dentist is more fun than golf. Unless it's disc golf. I change my answer. Give me top 10 disc golf.

I think golf is the "right" answer. But I chose baseball because I love it the most. And its not that as hard on your body as some other sports. And you make tons of money.

I'll go with football, assuming I'd be a QB.  Those guys don't get hit much anymore, and most of the good ones play past 35.

Basketball and it’s not close, everyone knows your face, game, the contracts are the best and you get the most tail.
Top 10 in soccer, and you have the best of the worlds tail to pick from.  Your life would be like a day at Epcot.  I'd also suggest a top 10 soccer player is likely in the best shape of the major sports.

Jim Furyk has made $70M lifetime in winnings only and is still playing. Bernard Langer is 5 stokes off the lead in the British at 61 years old.

Added bonus you aren't a 6'10" freak.
Curry will make more than that in two seasons.  Not a 6'10 freak either last I checked.

Not a fan of that family but they have to be a step up on the 41 yo porn actress Jimmy G is pulling. 49ers are paying him :moneybag:  and he’s sticking it inside a radioactive snatch
Saw that, what is this guy doing? 41 year old that’s been on the porn scene for a decade....gross.

That said being a top 10 pro in adult films industry count?

Golf is probably the sensible answer, but I hate golf, so Baseball is my fall back.

This thread.  :lmao:  Not at you guys, with you.

That said, baseball, easy. How much is a win worth as a pitcher as somebody pointed out earlier in the thread? The contracts are guaranteed.

Golf.  Plenty of $s.  Easy facial recognition for endorsements.  Great locations in perfect weather.  Set your own schedule. Hot WAGs.  Not as much tear on the body.  Senior Tour for when you get old.  No other sport really has that.  Maybe tennis has a legends type thing.  Don't tell me ballers are making anything in that 3 v 3 crap. They are broke and need a few extra pennies.

Soccer probably #2 just cause of the money.

I think you'd basically have to be a QB to be considered top-10 at football, at least as far as recognition, fame and salary are concerned.

Golf and not even close for me.  Plus I like playing.  Fowler and Day are in the top 10 and have only played in around 15ish tournaments since October.  So not even 2 a month.  Plus you could go over and play a Euro event then take two weeks off and vacation over there.

Lot of games and traveling baseball.

How long and how many games is a basketball season?

I voted soccer, but Golf is probably the right answer.

It helps that golfers, like soccer players, are also not freakishly tall or large and therefore there is always the chance that even being great in your sport, you can go somewhere and not be recognized.

I was thinking futbol but I could probably get on board with being basically being Matt Stafford or Philip Rivers. If I could be Marcus Mariota, sign me up.

8 away games plus playoffs, that's a plus vs the other sports.

Lot of easy time being a beisbol starter. Lots of hang out time, golf included.

Basketball, I think is 82, which I'm rehashing from memory and may no longer be the key.

But top ten? Yeah, baseball. No cap, also.  The labor unions and their strength come into play here. Thank Marvin Miller if you're a baseball player.

Well, I'll tell you what I won't be.  That giant black toupee wearing ####### that's playing poker on tv right now.

What a ginomorous #####.

My college roommates were best friends with Mike Lansford.  That dude had the easiest life ever,
I actually went to school with Janikowski. Dude just drank and shot pool at night with some pickup basketball mixed. He was one of those bigger bball dudes who just hang out at the 3pt line and jack them up and then barely walk back for defense. Noone messed with him. Lol.

I remember thinking the starting pitchers for the Atlanta Braves during the Maddox/Glavine/Smoltz/Avery era had the best life.  They’d play all of the best golf courses on the road. Only the starting pitcher that night didn’t play. Come to Dodger Stadium and play Riviera, LACC, etc. Tough life

Missed this one, dear lord she's disgusting.  I don't even care about her doing porn, she's 40+ and fat.  Why?
