If you could cut 1 player from your favorite NFL team, who would it be (1 Viewer)

Miami Dolphins: Anthony Fasano...hands of stone, in an era where TEs are looked at as another receiver, this guy is not suited for the modern NFL.

Packers just did with Peprah. Depth would have been nice...but the guys behind him are more talented...just don't have the experience.

Others...wouldn't kill me if Zombo or Brad Jones or Eric Walden were gone.

Ditto for Vick on the Eagles. And I thought signing TO was gonna be the end-all... This is by no means a criticism of their skills, of course.

Can I cut a coach? Can't root for a team coached by Pete Caroll.

signed, Bruins.

QB: Sanchez

RB: Chris Johnson and Ahmad Bradshaw

WR: Britt and Desean Jackson, Brandon Marshall

TE: Finley

Defensive

Suh

Cromartie

Haynesworth

If you want to make this "realistic", you have to consider cap costs and dead money...as a Jets fan, cutting Sanchez kills you, because you lose almost $25 million in cap space. Not good for this year. If I am the GM, I look at Wayne Hunter...less than $2.5 million in dead money, and then you are not forced to play him him, let alone start him...that is my thinking as to why they traded for Otah (we'll see if that even goes through). Not just to replace Hunter, but because in a way, he is very replaceable.

Injury concerns, and big contract. I like Wilson better, plus I didn't like his comments last year when he said if the Giants used him like the Bills used Fred Jackson he would put up those numbers or better. He can't even stay on the field when he is in a RBBC, so shut up and do your job.

Michael Jenkins and Devin Aromashadu(sp?) can both take a walk as far as Im concerned. With Simpson, Childs, Wright, and Harvin I think we have a young explosive group of receivers and I hope we give the last WR spot to Stephen Burton who has been by all accounts outstanding during OTA's.

It isn't realistic. It is IF you could cut 1 player who would you cut, I would cut Sanchez because he makes too much money, and he isn't that good.

For the Steelers, my pick would have been Bruce Arians but he's gone. Id probably go with Larry Foote because not only is he overpaid at around $2.5M, but Id rather have Stevenson Sylvester or Sean Spence in there because theyre bigger playmakers.

New England: Jabar Gaffney.

Already have Deion Branch and Gaffney is extremely similar. The others on the roster offer something whether it be versatility (Edelman, Slater) or speed (Slater, Stallworth). Brady loves and completely trusts in Branch and Gaffney IMO is another Branch.

Yep, 32 touchdowns on a team that quit on him, along with possibly the worst OC in the NFL last year sucks. It's his fault Shonne Greene is a dumpster fire, than Holmes is toxic, and his only reliable target is an average tight end.

I'm a NE fan also...similar players but I think Gaffney has more left in the tank and is more durable than Branch. Brady had chemistry with Gaffney back in the day also. As bad as it sounds, wasn't Gaffney the Pats best WR in 2006? And he came up clutch in some games in '07 also. Remember that sick catch to ice the Ravens game to stay undefeated near the end of the season? I'd say that Gaffney has some clout there with Brady as well. They both know the offense too so I wouldn't be surprised if Branch goes buh-bye. Just my 2 cents.

No one on the Cowboys. They have done a good job ridding themselves of bad deals. Plenty of spots to upgrade and Dez is a fool, but even he's still on his rookie deal.

If I had to pick someone, 3rd string QB Stephen McGee to open a space for A developmental QB that actually has upside.

Panthers: Marty Hurney - Dumb### constantly trades future picks for garbage.

Bills: Vince Young.

If Fitz gets hurt, the Bills are screwed.

Oh who am I kidding? They're screwed anyway, but having Vince Young under center will make it ugly.

Lets see how many of those touchdowns were during garbage time and didn't mean a thing. Don't give me that crap that he took them to two AFC titles games either, because their defense and running game did most of that. He just had to not mess it up. Also if he was really that good would they trade for the worst throwing starting quarterback in the league? His own team doesn't even think he is that good.

AJ Hawk...overrated piece of garbage who's great jumping on the pile 5 yards downfield. Also doesnt wrap up on most of his tackle attempts.

Chris Kelsay he makes to much, gets burned on sweeps. Mark Anderson needs to replace him in the run stopping game. Kelsay just is slow and gets 5 garbage time sacks a year.

I think the question was 1 player from your favorite team. As a Giants fan, I would never cut Bradshaw. Sure he gets hurt, but he's also plays as hard as anyone in the NFL. He blocks as well as he runs and he does not have a big contact at all. I may be wrong, but it sounds like you're a Wilson owner hoping Bradshaw goes down so Wilson can get more carries. The only Giant I would want cut would have been that blow hard cupcake Brandon Jacobs. Thank God Reese got tired of his BS.

Not a Lions fan but live in Michigan. I think Suh is a whiny ##### and he thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. I also think he is overrated because of what he did at Nebraska and because people seen him on sport science. Yes his rookie year was unbelievable but people have tape on him now and they know how to handle him.

I hated Bradshaw ever since he had those remarks last year after they played the Bills, which was long before Wilson was a Giant, and I own Wilson in 1 of my 9 leagues. I wish I had him in all 9 so I could root even more against Bradshaw. Most of my hate goes to the people that run their mouth and can't back it up, I also dislike Finley. If you run your mouth then back it up, if you can't back it up then shut the hell up and do your job and work at getting better.

Gotta be Kyle Williams for SF. Will never be able to look at him and not think about how he ####ed up the NFC championship game.

I could forgive the fumble in OT. Should have protected the ball better, but that happens. But when he stood there like a deer in the headlights and didn't step away from the bouncing football, that's unacceptable. They teach you that in youth football.

I understand your pain on what happened, but that kid was crushed after that game. The moment was too big for him and he had mental lapses, he is human. For me it was the way I was crushed when Chris Webber called that timeout in the Championship game against UNC, but as I got older I realized he was 19 and the moment just got the best of him.

Giants: Zak DeOssie - While he's a good long snapper, I am not a fan of using a roster spot on a guy who just snaps. I'd prefer a back up lineman or LB learn how to do it.

Ramses Barden - I've given up on him ever becoming a productive WR.

Mohamed Massaquoi, Josh Gordon was a huge step in the right direction but it's sounding like Mass is still going to have a big role week 1 at the expense of younger guys. Poor form on a rebuilding team, he's a UFA at season's end that's not a part of the future. Get his act out of here.

Steelers: Willie Colon, resource sucking, injury machine who is good for at least 2 or 3 stupid drive killing penalties per game.

(I'm slightly more hopeful now that he's moved to guard.)

As a 49er fan I've been waiting for the alex smith era(or error) to end for what seems like forever. Even after we had a good run last year with him id still rather see johnson or cap get a chance
