If you drafted today, who are your top 5 RBs? (2 Viewers)

PPR?

Bell, Forte, McCoy, Vereen, Charles although I'm a bit scared for Charles.

Holy #### Bell has looked good. CHI's defense is awful so Forte could catch a million balls this year. McCoy is still McCoy and Vereen's role is expanding.

McCoy

Charles

Forte

Murray

Asiata
I like your top four here but let's not get carried away. You do realize the guy has less than 50 career carries right and makes the league minimum, right? What about him makes you so high on him that you put him in your top 5?

I'd omit Charles from the top 5. KC line is in shambles. WR's are MIA. Chiefs look like a dumpster fire. Charles will have a couple of games, but don't expect him to sniff top ten numbers this year.

Vikings have an elite OL, I expect AP is done for the season, Vikes have a great schedule against the run, Asiata will be getting all the carries and he's a good receiving RB, and I overall love the situation.

Yeah but at some point, don't you still have to have talent? Professional talent evaluators must not be totally sold on he's currently making the league minimum. And if he is such a great receiving back, wouldn't he have more than 6 career receptions? I'm not saying he can't have a productive season for you but to put him above the likes of people have talent and some favorable conditions like Bell, Lacy, Lynch, etc. (just to name a few) seems like getting carried away.

I'm not so sure he's a good receiving RB. Pass catching was one of his weaknesses coming out of college and although I'm sure he can catch the ball, I'm not sure he had adequate burst to do anything after the catch. He'll likely catch balls by default as a good pass protector but I don't think it's one of his strengths. He really shouldn't be sniffing top 12 let a lone top 5. I'm an Asiata supporter but that's crazy.

Bell and Ball seem to be big gainers. The DUI/bone ride that Bell had made his stock drop perfectly for those in friends and family leagues.

They would both be must owns if I were to draft today.

I want young rbs filling my bench. Gonna be a long year.

Based on what I've been able to watch

1. Mccoy

2. Forte

3. Lynch - not sure how he isn't in everyone's top 5

4. Murray

5. Leveon Bell - He looked like a different guy

Moved off - Lacy (he split time with Starks before he got hurt), Charles (he could move back in with a good week)

In one league, from the 8 hole, I went D. Thomas in the first, Ball in the second and Bell in the third. PPR.

Kinda felt like I got 3 first round picks.

I would say, in PPR

Charles (1 bad week does not make him suck)

McCoy (could easilly be also #1 still)

Bell (has ben fantastic so far)

Bernard (too much value in PPR)

Ball (see above)

Seems pretty early to make many adjustments outside of a downgrade on AP and Martin and upgrade on Bell.

I agree with this...but I put Gio at 5a with Foster and would likely take Gio due to injury concerns with Foster

McCoy

Forte

Murray

Bell

Foster

No love for Moreno eh? ;)
Do I need to bump the Moreno thread again? Of course I drafted him again this year. Think it was 11th round I got him last year, this year had to reach for him in the 9th. He's my RB3 after Lynch and Rasahd Jennings. PPR.Moreno in the flex. Love it. Top 5? That would be surprising.

Here's your problem. I got the Denver RB position locked up. Have Ball, Hillman and Anderson. The position has a lot of value. Enough that I am using 3 roster spots to monopolize it.

That's why I rank him 5th.

In non PPR, Lynch has gotta be top 5.

But guys, Adrian Peterson is not like other people. He's superhuman. Surely the laws of man don't apply to him. I was told in no uncertain terms that he is not like other men.

McCoy

Charles (you don't give up on this guy cause of one bad week that was only because of him not getting the ball enough, not poor play)

L. Bell

Lynch

Murray

I was not high on Forte this year, as I thought he'd have a tough time doing again this year what he did last, and I think their early season struggles and injuries are gonna make it that much more difficult now.

I should point out, too, that I avoided Charles in all auctions this year cause I also thought he'd have a difficult time duplicating last year, but he's still a top 5 pick cause of his upside, even after last week.

Seems like Charles has been written off this season...
Buy low... You mean treat him like a borderline RB1, borderline RB2, an RB3/Flex or stash and wait?

This is a joke, week 2 and people are already jumping ship. Would love to see what people have gotten Charles for.

After some extremely deep thought, my list is now the following..

Bobby Rainey - lightning in a bottle

Mark Ingram - the perfect blend of speed and power

Terrence West - solid in all facets of the game

Darren McFadden - come back year

Matt Asiata - the human bulldozer
