Back when she was up here and only working 2 days a week or so (October). Needed to pay rent. $800.I have my drivers license! Feels good to drive without that stupid IID.Rusty's is fully healed and has a girlfriend now... a very dirty japanese chick.

She's probably a notch below the chick AZ posted. Seriously, Rusty could be pulling much hotter women, but he's happy so who cares.I think we all have that friend. The fat boy, who got buff, but still thinks like the shy fat boy.

So yah.... no money in my bank account.Sent her a text Saturday, where I copied and pasted her text message promising to pay me, and added, "It's Saturday". No reply from her.Then just sent her a text today saying it is disappointing that she can't even keep a promise anymore, how I'd never expect her to take advantage of me (guess I should have seen it coming), and that I don't care anymore. Not worth the stress and energy worrying about it. I never said, "don't pay me back," but I'm just going to chalk it up as a loss and a lesson learned. She probably wants the attention of me begging for my money, but #### that. On a positive note, going out on a date with a chick I met at a friend's party a couple of weeks ago. I've been a some dates here and there that I haven't posted about, but this is the first chick I'm actually really excited to go out with. She's younger than usual 21 (last semester of college), but she's hot: real petite Filipina chick, 5'2" 95-100#, and personality wise we hit it off at my buddy's party. We will see.

That's a load of crap. This girl cheated on you while living with you, continued to screw the guy she cheated on you with after you guys broke up, led you on, told you she was going to break up with this guy, lied again, and now YOU'RE GOING TO PAY HER $800 FOR IT ?!?!?!?!? You're nuts.We need to begin plotting our revenge.

I could see this advice helping earlier in my saga when I still wanted to be with Alyssa, but not now.I'm happy where I'm at and I could do and have been doing better than fat chicks. If it wasn't for that cash, I wouldn't give a #### about Alyssa.

But you realize you gave her the money right? This isn't some random, circumstantial situation. You created it by loaning her money (which she was obviously never going to pay back). I give you kudos for sleeping with her (and I hope you weren't gentle) but you and I both know you still give plenty of ####s about Alyssa. Still nothing wrong at your point with emotionless fat chicks. Try the stuff out you've always wanted to. And get off your pedestal.

Yah. I messed up when I gave her that cash, back then I still wanted to be with her and allowed myself to be led on. however it's not just her. I found out last year, I'm way to generous and trusting with friends regarding money. I guess because personally I hate to carry debts, so I expect others would as well. I finally tallied how much I lent to friends last year and it totaled to be near 8k (these are all friends I still hang out with and consider like brothers). To be fair half of that is chronicled in the poker stakes thread and also my buddies are sorely paying me back... some just faster than others. What pedestal should I get off of? Not wanting to bone fatty chicks? Just not my thing.
 
My thoughts. I've been in this scenario before. It will be hard, but TRUST ME.

1- Be nice and accept her wishes, and agree with the breakup. Don't beg. Don't whine. Don't ask why. Become rational.

2- cut all ties immediately. Don't call. Don't text. In the beginning she will text you, again, be nice and friendly. You can respond but not immediately. Don't be rude.

3- Do positive things. Get and stay busy. Don't let her see you sweat. Don't tell her what you have been doing. Be very bland if she needs info or an answer. Make her wonder.

4- You need to keep no contact. If you break it , you are actually making the transition for her easier. She will be desensitized from yall's relationship slowly over time.

5- Again NO ####### CONTACT. You have to make her miss you and the wonderful person you are.

6- It's not you...you don't have to change. Yeah we can do little things to make her happy, and these are the things girls put up with if they love you.

7- She wants to see what's out there. The only way to MAKE HER realize you are the one.......is for you to dissapear.

Saw this bumped up while I was on vacation and finally have gotten around to giving you guys an update.

Not much I can say really.

I haven't talked to Alyssa much since she left back in November. There was a time around April when things didn't workout with a chick I was seeing and it happened to be around Alyssa's birthday so I fired off a Happy Birthday text in hope of god knows what. She replied, we swapped a few texts over the week, and played phone tag just trying to catch up on things. I called her once, she didn't pick up. She called me twice, I was busy and didn't pick up. Then no contact.

Then I went to Spain in May with a lady friend. The trip was fun. Got to bone, but spending that time in Spain with her made me realize she just wasn't someone I was super into. Too boring for me. So after that trip, I've started to cut contact with her. Funny thing is after I returned from Spain, Alyssa texted me.... "You went to Europe with a chick?" I didn't reply to that and then after a few days Alyssa texted me, "I guess you're ignoring me now. Hope you're happy and everything is going well." Last I've heard from her.

Went to Vegas in June for EDC and had the best trip ever. Just non-stop partying and chicks. There is a cute white/mexican chick that I met in Vegas as part of our group that I want to see where things go. We had a good connection that weekend, but since she's been out of town so we'll see when she gets back next week.

So yah that's my life. I'm enjoying being a single man for the most part. There are days when I miss just having a companion to do things with but other than that I can't complain about my life. I wish had crazy stories to share, but I don't think anything I'm doing is any different than other single 20 somethings.
