If you were doing a Dynasty Draft Today and had #1 Overall- Who are you taking? (PPR Scoring) (1 Viewer)

At the fear of overreacting, I think it's Ja'Marr Chase for me, but I'm curious to hear what others think.

Taylor has to be on a very short list (along with Cook) at RB. Age/wear has to be a factor with Henry and injury concerns a factor with CMC and Barkley.

Kyle Pitts. Cheat code WR playing TE. On pace for 80+ catches & 1300+ yards as a rookie?

Easy call.

I like Chase, but Pitts sure looks like the next Kelce.

If I were to go with wide receiver (see how I narrowed it down there) I would go with Justin Jefferson. He gets more targets and has more yards and has done it for a full year. The only thing that gives me pause is the stability factor and coaching situation in Minnesota. Who is coming into town?

So Chase is an acceptable answer, as are others.

If I were going other positions, I'd go Jonathan Taylor at RB and Kyle Pitts at TE. I don't even think there are many questions about that latter one, the former seems obvious to me on talent alone.

I would love a top 5 pick, guarantees me one of Taylor, N Harris, Chase, Jefferson, and Pitts.

I would probably go either Chase or Taylor at 1.1

I would take Pitts with the hope I did not have to give a thought about TE for the next 10 years.
I just completely demolished my aging dynasty team, with only a small corps of young WR & QB talent left, and one of my deals was selling Hopkins for 1.08 (Pitts) and a 2022 2nd.

so I’m doing exactly that - building around Pitts. Had Chase also been there (he went 1.06 - SF league) I would likely still have gone with Pitts.

I would go Harris....1st year rb doing well.
depending on format including lineup I’d go with one of these.  Pitts could be another gonzo or gronk, almost unfair to others.

Cook is only a year younger than Henry and has been banged up a ton, and I say that as somebody who has him in dynasty.

I'll go a little off book, and say DK Metcalf. He's 23, and is as impressive a physical specimen as there is. His route running has improved year by year, and his only potential flaw seems to be long term QB, though Wilson leaving could just be empty smoke.
