I'm starting CJ Spiller this week... (1 Viewer)

Any thoughts from Spiller owners about trading him?

The fact that Spiller's leash was extremely tight is concerning.

They play GB and NE in their next two games - two teams that should have no problems scoring. I picture Buffalo falling behind early and often which means limited carries for Spiller.

The week 4 encore is NYJ who should have no problem holding Buffalo to 85 yards of total offense.

He finally gets a decent matchup vs. JAX, but I believe any trade value will be lost by then after 4 weeks of punishment.

The way he was used, and his inability to rush for any kind of yardage was very troubling. I saw bits of the games when Bears were on commercial and what I saw looked terrible. The only positive is that Gailey said he messed up the gameplanning. If one of the other backs were successful that would be one thing, but no one was. Maybe Gailey will plan to use Spiller a little more consistently. Definitely a situation to monitor.

Keeping him on the bench for now. This could be a one game fluke or a reason for serious concern but my trigger finger isnt that itchy.

He'll get it sometime this season along with the offensive line. I'm not saying Buff is playoff bound. Just saying owners will have to let him ride the pine until he becomes productive.

My opinion is that his value is only going to decline as the season wears on:Look at this scheduleGB - Buffalo plays from behindNE - Buffalo plays from behindNYJ - great vs. runJax - good matchup Bal - great vs. runKC - good matchupChi - I know Detroit has OL issues, but Best had nowhere to run. I don't see Spiller getting 2 TDs to salvage his dayDet - I believe with Suh and Vandenbosch this isn't one of the league's worst run defenses like last year. Forte has a nice receiving day, but mediocre time rushing (including getting stopped at the goalline)Cin - good defense (I think)Pit - great vs. runMin - good defenseCle - good matchupMia - we saw what he did week 1NE - Buffalo plays from behindNYJ - great vs. runI believe he is a special talent, but with that schedule, two other decent RBs, and Edward's inability to move the ball, the time to sell is now.

I feel like these games BUF is going to be way behind in are the games you actually want to start him...lots of plays in space and receptions from Mr. "I can only throw 5 yards" Edwards
