I'm thinking of a person who dominates conversations but says little of any substance, in a very arrogant, egotistical and ignorant manner, with grammar at about a second grade level. To me that is indicative of a low-class, uneducated person. Come to think of it, you're right -- many people from the ghetto are there because of unfortunate circumstances and are trying to better themselves. Many of them speak thoughtfully and with purpose. I have insulted perhaps millions of ghetto people by comparing them to someone like Phenix. I could have just called him a used condom on the sidewalk of life, or a virus, or a parasite, or a big steaming pile of donkey ####.

Well I reported him earlier. Perhaps the mods have been busy and don't realize what a tool this guy is. I told them to go back and read his last 25 or so posts and determine if he brings any value whatsoever to this board. Maybe they'll realize that he's only here to provoke and be combative. The internet is a great place for sissy boys to shoot their mouths.

So, hopefully, his days are numbered.

Guys - it's very simple. If you don't like a particular poster, throw them on ignore. If the poster is rude, inflammatory, curses at you or anyone, uses derogatory and bigoted language, etc. then before you throw them on ignore, report them to fbg by hitting the report button on every inflammatory post they submit.

True story - last year, fbg suspended my forum account...NOT BC I was inflammatory to anyone, but BC I was angry with Darren mcfadden's sucktitude. And when I posted about him I changed his last name to reflect my disappointment with him and my opinion that he was made of glass. It just so happened that the term I used is generally seen as derogatory towards gay people. Some posters took offense and apparently reported me.

It was my first offense, but my account was suspended for a week, during the fantasy playoffs. No warning. I had to email fbg 2 or 3 times to get an explanation.

So if I could get suspended or ONE damn post in which I meant NO harm to any other fbg forum member, and truly meant no disrespect to gay people either...I'm sure if you report the hundreds of inflammatory posts that a member makes, fbg will deal with it appropriately.

I don't particularly like phenix. I've had him and 3 or 4 other posters like him on ignore since last year. It just doesn't pay to get into it with people like him. He seeks out conflict. He will keep going back and forth, wasting the precious time of your life, and getting you angry. In the end, playing into his game only hurts you BC it's stressful and time consuming.

Bottom line, if you don't like him and think the so would be better off without him, don't get into with him. Report his posts and throw his #### on ignore.

You're right, he does seek out conflict. And when you get too many guys like that on a messageboard, the whole tone of the forum becomes combative and juvenile. Yes, putting them on ignore may be nice, but the mods need to do a better job of banning guys who offer nothing productive. Because idiots like him have a way of annoying otherwise good members, and that turns into confrontation and thread after thread being ruined with juvenile flame wars.

Oh, and you did deserve your week's suspension. You can't use derogatory words that are offensive to entire groups of people and think that is ok. I was suspended for a week last year for pretty-much the same thing. I allowed another poster to get under my skin and called him something similar. After I tried logging in, I realized why I was suspended and that I deserved it.

Oh yeah I learned my lesson from that. I was livid. But after that, I am rated G for general audiences on these boards. It's the right way to carry yourself anyhow.

Don't get sucked into stopping to an inflammatory posters level of insults and derogatory speech. Most of us are better than that. Just report and ignore.

Btw back to thompkins, I just dropped him for Justin Blackmon after some dude in my league dropped Blackmon. I've seen enough of KT to know that the season we thought he might have isn't close to the season he will have.

The return of gronk and then amendola to the lineup will lower KT's snap count IMO. I think the pats are going to try to keep Edelman and amendola in the field together and tailor the offense mostly to them. Dobson and KT will rotate in 3wr sets.

KT had a chance in the first 2 games to establish himself and just couldn't do it. If you have some intriguing options on the WW consider dropping thompkins to grab them.
