Which one did you grow up with and/or teach your kids?

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man.

Bake me a cake as fast as you can;

Pat it and shape it and mark it with "B",

And bake it in the oven for baby and me.

Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man.

Bake me a cake as fast as you can;

Roll it up, roll it up;

And throw it in a pan!

Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man.

The great philosopher Dice Clay spoketh as Patty cake:

Patty cake, patty cake
Baker's man
If your chick's on her period
#### her in the can

I'm sure it's "pat-a-cake" but we say "patty cake."  We even change the "baby" line to our foster son's name (which starts with a "B").  He loves it so it's a rare circumstance where I couldn't care less what's correct.
