Indy looking to trade for a RB (1 Viewer)

If MJD has no chance of resigning and jags have no chance of playoffs, why not deal him now for a pick? Todman gets a nice, long look. Denard gets some work. Jags need to rebuild this and losing MJD at the end of the year for nothing seems worse than losing him for something.
why would Indy pay a two for a guy already hurt and has been hurt for last two years?

Anything less than MJD at this point would be a let down based on Irsay's tweets. That would be the only one I would call monster.

He's not hurt. Looks like he's playing this weekend. Last year's injury completely healed. He makes that team much better.

He had a foot injury that healed. He has a minor ankle knock that may not even keep him out a week. He's a RB, it happens.

Agreed

I'm kind of hoping its Michael Bush. He isn't a great fit for the Bears offense and Ford looked like a real player during pre-season.

"This day of MONSTER TRADE,The Tidal Wave Of Deal making...Shocks the system of "..Didn't see THIS ONE COMING!!!!!!" Grig's Rollin' Dice!"

Its Ingram > Alabama > Roll Tide

They would not be losing MJD for nothing at the end of the year, the would likely get a third round compensatory pick.

MJD is 28 years old.

Bradshaw is 27 years old.

Bradshaw had a thousand yard season last year, he catches the ball, can bang it in from the goal line, he's pretty darn good.

MJD is very good as well but it doesn't make sense to trade for an older RB unless they got him on the cheap.

I have no idea how to read Bob Irsay's tweets, the hyperboyle is a bit much but for that type of tweet a normal person would be hinting at a younger RB, if the player in question is a RB.

Ingram makes sense ..............

Saw the above post and checked Irsays twitter, no new posts coming thru yet.

sure it did

Maybe he left practice to discuss being traded and they used the toe as a decoy.

Mark Ingram (toe) did not participate in Saints practice Wednesday.
Ingram stretched with the team before leaving for treatment. He's a new addition to the injury report. Ingram is well off the fantasy radar after rushing for just 44 yards on 12 carries through two games. He's behind Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles for carries in the Saints' backfield.
