Injury riddled teams (1 Viewer)

What is your strategy?

Lucky me drafted a team with Burrow, Lamb, and Hampton and 1-4 with no hope in sight.

Not much on WW.

Do you guys trade away your injured assets in hopes to go on a run and survive?

Do you go down with the ship?

Redraft I typically cry a lot and rediscover my craft bourbon collection. Occasionally I’ll hug one of my dogs for emotional support.

Dynasty I also cry a lot and rediscover my craft bourbon collection, then hug my dogs - and then I’ll make a series of short-sighted deals that always seem to blow up in my face, but in a more long-term fashion.

We all deal with hardship in our own way.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that 2 IR spots isn't enough.

If that's a 1QB league, you're not even in that rough of shape from a roster perspective. You're probably just down a top end QB in a couple of weeks. The problem is the 1-4 record, and not knowing what you have the first week Lamb and Hampton are back. Assuming playoffs aren't easy to qualify for and you have to get back to .500+, it's a pretty big hole.

I'm stubborn and hate seeing the most competitive teams in my league win with my toys. Most times, I probably hope to hit the lottery and steal my way to 3-4 with cunning, guile, and dumb luck. That usually doesn't work out. If there's a winning team that you wouldn't hate to see win the 'ship with your best toys, the smart move is probably trying to work something out if there's a reasonable tier down to healthy players that will give you a better chance to win a couple games. In practice, I'm much more of a go down with the ship kind of guy. Show them all how lucky they got in the consolation bracket.

**Sorry, missed the Hampton IR news. You had no chance when he fell to me as a late 3rd round value and I was actually excited about him.

My super flex dynasty team has burrow, purdy, lamb, Mike Evans, Juaun Jennings. Oh and Jalen McMillan and braelon Allen. But I should be OK since I have Jake browning, Geno Smith and AJ Brown. But there's always next year, except I don't have a 1st round pick.

This game is dumb.

Perhaps you should look into getting a box of tissues, a couple of dogs, and a premium bourbon collection.

It’s just a suggestion.

That's cute.

My superflex dynasty team has Burrow, Najee, Benson, Conner, Nabers and Watson all on IR. Conner, Najee, Nabers and Burrow out for the year. I need to get into @Hot Sauce Guy 's bourbon collection. Currently 2-2 because I drafted Spencer Rattler in the 4th round last year and have a sick WR corps.

In one league I have J. Chase and I'm absolutely looking to sell "high" after this week. Anyone who just looks at the box score doesn't realize how volatile this situation could be .

Hoping to throw something else in and try and get back an RB2 and a serviceable WR.

Of course, had to go hard on the waiver wire.

Most importantly, think one week at a time.
