Did anyone else get an e-mail inviting them to join a FF group which apperently employs (or is run by) former FBG staffer KM. Is this kosher for one to take FBG member e-mail addresses and use them? I'm speculating to some extent, but I don't know where else they would get my e-mail address.

I didn't want to endorse the site so I'm not naming it or giving the full name of the former FBG staffer.

Did you give him the email database (or access to it) while he was employed by FBG?Did you specify (in writing) the uses of that database?

Did he sign a non-disclosure or non-compete with FBG?

Ethically, it's probably not cool, but if FBG did not protect themselves before the fact, chances are there is very little you can do about it now.

I wouldn't worry much. You guys are a tough act to follow! :thumbup:

 
I've gotten 2 emails from this guys website today too. I don't remember signing giving out my email for anything FFL related other then Footballguys. At first I thought this was a footballguys email but it definately looks like it's unrelated.

 
Never seen someone complaine about getting more fantasy info. I bet you were the kid who tattled on everyone.

This is Ken here. I submitted a list of email addresses for invitation to a google group that I am setting up. I pulled the email addresses from people who have signed up for my boards as well as people who I had received email from or had sent email to regarding fantasy football over the past 6+ years.

I'm sorry if this cause any inconvenience.
