Have you visited the pizza place? Talked to the guy? Anything from his end?
We don't speak the same language, but according to his uniform he works here...Have you visited the pizza place? Talked to the guy? Anything from his end?
I never blamed the FFA, I just stated that they are now a voice in my ear.I can see how it's the FFA's fault that you dealt with a ######## from Enterprise.
really not sure what you could have done differently in that situationI never blamed the FFA, I just stated that they are now a voice in my ear.I can see how it's the FFA's fault that you dealt with a ######## from Enterprise.
Cool, through this whole situation I am batting .500really not sure what you could have done differently in that situationI never blamed the FFA, I just stated that they are now a voice in my ear.I can see how it's the FFA's fault that you dealt with a ######## from Enterprise.
You know to drive for them, he has to provide proof of a DL and insurance. Would some FBG comments on their website help "Great Pizza--their drivers don't carry more than $20--nor do they carry valid insurance."We don't speak the same language, but according to his uniform he works here...Have you visited the pizza place? Somewhere No. 17 is reading this and thinking "Man, that guy really needs to listen to good advice."What a train wreck.
You dismiss what your wife wants (and she was right) so you can be a "nice guy" to someone that was recklessly endangering everyone around him.
Then you let the reckless smiling guy off the hook.
Reckless guy drives off continuing to text while driving.
You dismiss FBG's about your $120- bumper repair.
Get smug when the police say that wouldn't have responded anyway.
"I was half right. Police wouldn't come. Bumper more than expected. But Hey I didn't take HS auto shop"
Get snarky with rental guy. He ignores you. You take the van anyway.
Insist on finding a more appropriate ride.
Return rental van and pay for it.
:doormat:
The are literally showing you papers that says someone else is paying and you refuse to believe that and insist they take your money? This is schtick right? You can't make this stuff up.
I had an estimate done yesterday. Geico wants me to go to their shop today. The first thing I think about is how will FBG's handle this?( How ####### sick is that?)
Enterprise calls me last night and says that my insurance contacted them and advised that I need a rent car, they know my make and model and will have a car at the auto body shop waiting for me at 8:30.
I go to the auto shop and there is no car. I tell them I was promised a car waiting, so I brought my kids and since there is no car, I have to call for a ride and take them somewhere and come back. I drop them off at a sitters, and come back. Enterprise guy is there and we do all of the paper work. Enterprise says insurance is paying for the rental.
Walk outside and it's a 15 passenger van. WTF am I going to do with a bus? Gieco guy comes out and states they are not paying for the rental until they find out what is going on with the other guy. ( We don't know if he has coverage or not, and the agent is on vacation)
I tell Enterprise guy that I was promised a comparable car and this is not it. He literally told me to bad so sad. My car was already taken apart and I had no ride.
I took the van advised him that I would go straight home, park it, and look for a different company. This guy told me whatever and handed me the keys and walked off.
I spent five hours looking for a rental found one and took the van back. I complain, don't get any remorse and was charged for the full day... 4hrs and 8 miles.
Enterprise says don't worry about it, insurance is paying for it. I let them know I don't have rental on my policy and I will pay. He shows me the invoice and the responsible party states Geico. I was told by two Geico people it's not covered... I decide I will just pay and get the money back from them. I give him the money.
I walked out feeling like a ##### again....I hate you FBG's!

15 passenger van says it all. Funny punchline tho'.The are literally showing you papers that says someone else is paying and you refuse to believe that and insist they take your money? This is schtick right? You can't make this stuff up.

I think this should be on the pizza place if he doesn't have insurance. Might have to take them to small claims court if they don't cooperate. You know to drive for them, he has to provide proof of a DL and insurance. Seriously, you are doing what you can. Like I said earlier in the thread, I thought you should have filed a police report. I understand the officer wasn't willing to take it, but the idea was to file it on-line with the form they provide just so you can get that report number. Hang in there it will all work out in the end.
USAA is worth double every penny I pay, and I probably pay way more than the cut-rate companies.Jobber said:This thread is so delivering.
On a related note, I've head Geiko is horrible. You should consider switching after that ****. I'd be beyond pissed. You should check out USAA (if ex-military) or Progressive.
The place looks like an independent. They probably have business insurance but it's at least somewhat likely they don't have any special insurance for the drivers per se seen it more than once. Of course they may be insured out the wazoo but I wouldn't bank on it.If he was driving for work (even in his personal car) there is probably insurance through the pizza company.
That would be a very bad idea for a business who employs drivers. The place looks like an independent. Unlikely, but there should be a statutory minimum amount of insurance they must carry. The place looks like an independent. USAA is probably the best of the lot. Just gotta be eligible and it's a no brainer.USAA is worth double every penny I pay, and I probably pay way more than the cut-rate companies.Jobber said:This thread is so delivering.
