Is Anybody Starting Both Bowe AND Bradley This Week? (1 Viewer)

I keep hearing how the Chiefs, Tyler Thigpen and their new spread offense is going to put up very good numbers against a depleted Saints' defense this week. If this is the case does it stand to reason that Bowe and Bradley could both have low end WR1/WR2-type production this week?

If you think about it Thigpen should be able to complete about 25 passes this week and those passes only go to three guys; Gonzo, Bowe and Bradley. So, you're guaranteed to get at least 7 catches for each of them. In a PPR league that will lead to very good games for both of them and great games if they can throw a TD in there.

However, this is the Chiefs we're talking about. Not the Patriots last year or the Colts of years past, etc.

What do you guys think?

Gonzo owner here, and I would without hesitation. I almost picked up Bradley in a trade and would have started him this week.

Starting Bowe, TG and LJ ... I see no problem with Bradley / Bowe combo.

I'm really failing to see the rationale behind the season-long love affair with Bowe in the FBG rankings. Never has this been more apparent than this week. There is a 30-spot difference this week in the rankings between Bowe and Bradley, yet Bradley has outperformed Bowe the past three weeks. He was also targeted more than anyone else in the league this week.

Considering starting Bradley over Coles in non-ppr. This would go against FBG projections, but it just "feels" right.

KC has an easy passing schedule with:

11/NO #27

12/BUF #16

13/OAK #13

14/DEN #28

15/SD #32

16/MIA #25

2 middling Ds and 4 bad ones.

Just have to hope Thiggy keeps his groove on.

:goodposting: I have found those rankings to have serious defects at times, mostly due to the slow ability to recognize situations developing and rank accordingly. That is a perfect example. As for the question, I would not hesitate to start both guys. KC is slinging the ball.

Starting Bradley in place of B. Edwards, at least until Quinn shows he can throw the long ball and Edwards starts catching balls

Yep. Starting Bowe and Bradley over Cotchery and Holmes, with confidence.
PPR or non-ppr?Your scoring system pretty simple?I have Holmes, Avery, Bowe and Bradley and I was thinking of starting B&B as well. and also thought I was a nutcase

FWIW, I have Holmes, Coles, and Bradley and will be starting Bradley along with Holmes and sitting Coles. Holmes has been horrendous this year, but I just can't bring myself to sit him vs. the Chargers D. If he can just pop one decent length (30 yds? 35 yds?) td, he's worth the start (I'm begging, I know). I could see you starting Bowe and Bradley, but I don't think you'd be nuts to start Holmes and Bradley either.

I just think that between the two guys, you might get 180 yards, and 1 TD.

Its just hard for me to justify not taking a gamble and picking the right KC WR, and picking another WR. Playing both is pretty risky
