Probably all of the posters saying he won't be a #1 for the rest of the season don't have him on their team and wish they did........guys like Driver, Colston, Evans all went before him.

Many things are going in his favor. Next 4 games are vs. SFO, MIA, DAL, DET.Not practicing during the week allows him to rest the ankle. And since his doctors have said that the only way it heals is through rest, this can't be a bad thing.Manning is obviously establishing trust with him, and at the expense of others (ie Shockey, Toomer, and RB's).If anything, I might look to trade him around week 11-12. Their schedule in weks 12-17 is vs. MIN, CHI, PHI, WAS, BUF, NE. He should be about peak value at around week 11-12 if he stays relatively healthy.The only bad thing I can see is he has a bye in week 9.
