I think no personally, not a good enough resume especially in the playoffs.  And he's 7th all time in pick sixes.

Dis he ever make a Conference Championship? I mean, the Heisman was a good start and he was putting up big numbers before it became passé.

I have a hard time finding a spot for Rivers. Gotta be a no go on Palmer.

Anyone who votes 'yes' in this poll should be banned from the Shark Pool.  And punished further by only being allowed to post in the P/R subforum.

Not that I have a list off the top of my head, but I'd be hard pressed to call Palmer a top-75 QB of all-time. Maybe top-100? So no, certainly not a HOF'er.

I was going to vote yes but then I read this and went with no.

Jk.  I love Palmer.   Great QB and a great guy.   Not a Hall of famer.

The day Vinny Testaverde gets voted in, is the day Carson can start hoping.

Way too many in there right now who don't belong.....

Lynn Swann

Floyd Little

Joe Namath

Tommy McDonald

....to name a few.

Palmer did ....0.....that could put him in the HOF.

His only real claim to fame in the pro game is being the best USC QB to play in the NFL.

The OP did not state which HOF. He could be a charter member of the first induction class for the People Named Carson HOF.

In my head this seemed questionable, but then I looked up USC QB's, and its crazy how awful they have been. Sam Darnold will likely be #2 on the list if he makes it to the end of his rookie deal as a starter.

Lots of people taking this thread seriously and not seeing it for what it is (a weak troll attempt).
No it was a legitimate question, here's the argument I got from USC fans:

"Carson is 12th all time in pass completions

13th all time in yards, 13th all time in TDs. He’s a HOFer"

If he is then Eli Manning will be a unanimous choice:

 7th all time pass completions

7th all time passing yards

8th all time passing td's

I'm going to slowly walk out of this thread with my tail between my legs.  I thought you were talking about Carson Wentz lol.

Being added to the Cardinals ring of honor though.

That's sad enough.
I have problems enough already with the Cards letting Palmer into their ring before guys who have been in the HOF for decades --  can't even begin to conceive why Palmer should be considered for enshrinement before other former Bengals QBs (Ken Anderson, Boomer).

Eli will be in.  he has two rings.

wether or not he’s really worthy is an entirely different discussion.

 could be an interesting place.

Palmer, Johnny....

I'm somewhat convinced my nephew was named after Mr Palmer.

The lists of Top 10 Cards & Bengals QBs would be good to see though.
Since neither team has had 10 decent QB's, I limited the list to PFR's top-5 AV values, Cardinals are:

1. Jim Hart 2. Neil Lomax 3. Charley Johnson 4. Kurt Warner 5. Carson Palmer

Bengals are:

1. Ken Anderson 2. Boomer Esiason 3. Andy Dalton 4. Carson Palmer 5. Jeff Blake

Rodney Peete had a long and decent career.

Rob Johnson really rocked a headband.

He's under consideration for the "People named Palmer" hall of fame, but he's borderline for that.
