Is Carson Wentz a buy low candidate w/his weapons returning? (1 Viewer)

Ya QB7 now.  Of course not having a bye yet is a factor, but he is still QB11 in terms of Average Per Week, and he's climbing up quickly.

When this forum was made I thought qb12-15 end of season, but I'm starting to think he will end around the QB8 spot barring injury.  Which makes him a decent QB1.
He’s 11th in ppg, don’t cherry pick.

11th is still a qb1, unlike the 7 posts I quoted saying he was not even rosterable.

Also he has been way better as of late, so it's more likely he finishes as a qb1 in the top 12 than him finishing outside of that.

That’s still impressive considering the state of the Oline and WRs.   I can’t bring myself to roster him because I don’t know how is actually putting up numbers.  However, Fulgham, the WR that stumbled into the starting role looks to be legit.  Other weapons are returning.   Maybe he is a buy low candidate for a couple of weeks down the road.

Why not? Leagues are won many times when you have ascendant players on your roster come playoff time.

Leagues typically don't award championships to teams whose players have the highest average ppg for the year.

And the pass defenses he faces from here on out are mostly in the bottom half of the league.

I can't help but feel sorry for Wentz as I can't remember the last game where he had a full clip at his disposal. There's just been no continuity for him the past two seasons and I feel he has been forced to play hero ball too much to his liking. I can't even begin to explain how frustrating it would be to start practice with a new WR every week on the first team offense. Timing and anticipation is such a big part of any QB's long term success and he hasn't been afforded that lately.

Now that's not to say Wentz doesn't have some things to clean up. Holding on to the ball for 3+ seconds is a recipe for disaster in today's game. Throwing the ball away and live to see another day is something he needs to learn, he can't just throw inadvertent picks in the NFL.

But this Philly team with it's back against the wall is still a very dangerous team, especially in that division. They really have nothing to lose at this point and that's sometimes a good thing to have at your back. I also can't help but recognize what the drafting of Jordan Love for GB has maybe lit a fire in the ### of Rodgers might be happening here with the Hurts/Wentz dynamic. Anybody that's good has an ego and I'm willing to bet that Wentz has some good things in store down the stretch here despite all his misfortunes.

He's actually still sitting unclaimed on your waivers????

Top 11 all season and climbing, Top 5 the last few weeks, and getting weapons back.  Theres no league he should be sitting on the wire completely.

I picked him up a few weeks ago looking at the schedule. The weapons are still not there yet.

It's between starting him or Bridgewater this week. I am leaning slightly to Wentz. I do worry that game may be over by the middle of the 3rd quarter though, where as Bridgewater should have to keep passing
