i'm a little confused. i read one article that says indy is in as good a spot as they can hope for and has nothing to accomplish this week, and therefore their "studs" will be rested. then i read that peyton is not happy with them losing 4 of their last 6 and wants to make a statement this week. for a multitude of reasons i'm hoping someone out there has the straight poop on this situation, what can i expect from the colts this week?

You have got to think, considering how poorly they have played lately, that they will try to play a complete game on Sunday, to try and get some momentum going into the playoffs.

I think they have to play hard and get some momentum. I've felt all year that even though this Colts team seems like the worst one in years, I think being the underdog will help them get to the Super Bowl.

Both the Patriots and Ravens play at 1:00, so Indy will know by game time if they need to win to secure either the #2 or the #3 spot. Of course, either way they probably SHOULD play to win since resting their horses hasn't helped them a ton in playoffs past.

The Colts can get the # 2 seed and thus, obviously a first round bye with a win and a Baltimore loss. Both the Colts and the Ravens are playing a 4:15 game.

The Colts aren't going to tank it if they can get a bye - unless they look up at the scoreboard and Baltimore is decimating the Bills at half-time, they're going all out to win this game, I would think.

 Ravens play at 4:15pm. Just want to point this out because it makes a huge difference.

Yep, they moved the game on purpose so the Chargers have something to play for.I think the Colts go all out this week.

I have to laugh thinking about posts a few weeks back speculating whether Indy would rest it's starters as they cruised into their 1st week bye. Boy have things changed in a couple weeks.....
