Is John Kuhn the gl back for Green Bay? (1 Viewer)

I haven't seen GB play, but just looking at the stats it seems that GB is using John Kuhn is being used as the goal line back. Is this the case? Is he worth a pickup?

Agreed- he only has 6 touches for 20 yards on the season to go with those 2 TDs. The weeks where he doesn't get a goal line TD will be pretty bare.

He is a goal line back but not the goal line back. He gets about 5 rush/rec TDs a year. Not worth even a bench spot unless your roster is severely depleted.

Khun is definitely a guy the Packers like to use at the goal line. I would not call him the goal-line back though. The Packers mix it up down there a lot to keep defenses guessing. He is always the most "boring" threat to score at the goal line what with Rodgers, Finley, Jennings, Starks/Grant, etc, so even with the scores on tape, nobody is going to game plan to stop Khun at the goal line so he'll surely sneak a few more this year, but you've got to be pretty desperate to start him. And as humpback said, if he doesn't score you're looking at 2 carries for 7 yards or whatever, not pretty.
