I noticed that Kenny Phillips was projected by FBGs to get 2 INTs tonight and figured it had to be a typo in the projections. Who projects 2 INTs for one player?
Incredibly, Phillips just pulled down his second INT of the night.

PFT is reporting Phillips is considering surgery for his knee. THis is the first I'm hearing. Anyone with more news? Who would take over for Phillips?

A league source that the New York Giants are planning for the possibility that safety Kenny Phillips will be lost for the balance of the season.
Mike Garafolo, of The Star-Ledger, reports New York Giants FS Kenny Phillips (knee) could be placed on Injured Reserve soon because of his knee injury, according to a source.

Analysis: Phillips may have some cartilage damage that would require season-ending surgery. There's been no official word on this, but his knee has been an issue for a while, so it's entirely plausible. C.C. Brown would likely start in his place, though when cornerback Aaron Ross returns, Terrell Thomas could see time at safety as well.
