maybe sitting back and watching most of this year will help Leinart's development. You dont need a rocket arm with those 2 stud WRs . Even Coles had a few great years with noodle arm Chad. Leinart will be an undervalued sleeper in keeper leagues - grab him while his value is rock bottom - its worth the risk - if he wakes up he is a top 10 QB in that offense.
It seems to me that Warner has not been all that spectacular, really. Over the last 7 weeks, the guy has had pretty gaudy fantasy numbers but look at who he has played....Detroit, Cincy, Cleveland, Seattle, New Orleans, Atlanta. Out of that bunch the only two that are not in the bottom 10 pass defenses are Seattle (16th) and Atlanta (20th) and against Seattle Warner threw 5 picks.I am not a Leinart fan, but to light up bad defenses does not lead me to believe that Warner is "the guy".
3400 yards 27 TDs and 90(ish) passer rating is excellent over 10 starts---- plus some more.Maybe someone can note the game starts better so someone else can project that over a season but those are excellent on the surface.17 INTs is not very good. He played thru injuries(or injury) others wouldn't and his WRs were often hurt. If you give him a mulligan on 4 or 5 he's near a 2 to 1 ratio. I watched Tiki fumble 10000 balls(or so it seems) and I know 3 not so timely fumbles vs 10 that don't matter is significantly different, and I think "meh" on some of those fumblitis seasons but the guy was a real good back.Kurt's not Joe Montana, they still should have won more with him. D, ToP, ST, run game, coaching etc. I'm sure there's others to blame for some of those Ls. He threw for almost 500 yards against San Fran and they lost.
