12 team PPR. We keep 4. I am currently keeping Lamb, Chase, Metcalf & Gibbs. Guy offered me Mahomes and my 2nd (15th overall) for his 3rd (32nd overall). Then I would keep him over Metcalf. With that 15th overall pick, I might be able to land a QB like A Roger or Purdy or Love.

QB pool is rich and deep this year.
I love Mahomes but he also has some limited weapons at the moment
He will do great, The Chiefs will roll to the Division and perhaps the AFCC again but there are tons of QBs in Redraft this year

I think he'll be fine but in hindsight maybe you are right that he could pass on Mahomes and get like a Hurts, Purdy, Jackson or Allen and be better off. My thinking was basicly...you get your starter and trade back a little bit so you won't have to blow your 2nd or 3rd rd pick on a QB. So yeah, prob don't accept that trade.

He would keep G Wilson, Barkley, Etienne & Kyren Williams. If he doesn't make trade, he would most likley let Kyren or Etienne go in favor of Mahomes.

What could you get draft pick wise for Metcalf? Because in essence this trade is 2nd round pick plus Metcalf for Mahomes and 3rd round pick. When looking at it this way it probably isn't a good deal but if you could move Metcalf for a 2nd round pick or something like that it swings it back to a favorable deal.

Why is someone not keeping a 2nd rounder for a fourth to fifth?
.25 or .2 per yard is critical too. Mahomes was 10th in our league last year on a ppg basis. I'm in a league where Mahomes just went at 6.2 as QB4. Everyone is eyeing two guys who outscored Pat last year that are going QB11/12
