Is Michael Jenkins the new WR2 in Minnesota? (1 Viewer)

Ministry of Pain

3 year deal, former 1st round pick, very disappointing run in Atlanta. Is he better than Benard Berrian? They signed him for 3 years so they must think they are going to use him yes/no?

Is Jenkins a guy that can seize the vacancy left by Rice? It's easy to say he stinks and will fail but he is a guy with experience who walks into a situation where there might be opportunity.

I certainly think he has a chance. With the WR right now I would think he or Aroshumadu both may be battling out for some significant playing time.

have to think DA is better, and not from the hype hear 18months ago, just from eyeball test

I'm a Percy Harvin owner in a Dynasty league. Not sure if I like the Jenkins signing. I don't know that I want Percy to be the no 1. He is a better WR2 or Slot WR (Thats where he does his damage.) If you watched when they played the Jets and Randy Moss was there. It was a lot better all around for Percy when he didn't have to be the no 1 in that game. Although I remember on one of his huge plays he ran right past Revis like Revis was the one on the island. :lmao:

But Jenkins is more of a borderline WR2. So I'm confused by this deal.

Jim Miller and Randy Cross on NFLN were saying that the word around town was Berrian would be the 1 with Harvin the 2. I don't buy that, but it's out there.

That's possible too but I don't see it. The little bit I saw Berrian playing last year he looked just horrible. He looked to have lost anything he ever had. I suspect they are still looking to bring in someone still.
